Il est d'usage de conserver le sucre ou des matières analogues en poudre ou en granules dans des boîtes ou des récipients, fermés par un couvercle, perforé ou non de trous fins, ce qui rend nécessaire, pour retirer des dites boites le contenu ou une partie du contenu, soit d'enlever tout-à- fait le couvercle, soit de renverser la boite afin de pouvoir verser une partie du oontenu par les perforations.
L'invention se rapporte à une boite à sucre ou autres matières analogues en poudre permettant non seulement de con- server cette matière de la façon ordinaire, mais aussi d'en retirer ou d'en distribuer le contenu ou une partie du con- tenu, sans ouvrir la boite, ni la renverser.
L'invention est caractérisée par le fait que la boite est munie d'un dispositif de distribution permettant d'épar- piller la poudre à volonté en quantité quelconque sous forme d'un courant régulier et/continu ou de délivrer une quantité déterminée au préalable de cette Poudre.

Conformément à l'invention, la boîte est munie d'un organe mobile placé entre le réservoir et l'ouverture de décharge, cet organe affectant la forme d'une chaire qui ne peut contenir qu'une quantité déterminée de la matière à distribuer. Cette chambre se trouve normalement en commu- nication libre avec le réservoir; mais cette communication peut être fermée complètement, après qu'on a pourssé l'organe jusqu'à sa position extrême et, dans ce cas, la chambre peut décharger seulement ou que son contenu, tandis que, dans tou- te autre position intermédiaire, la chambre même constitue une communication permanente entre le réservoir d'alimenta- tion et l'ouverture de décharge.
La première position de l'or- gane en question permet donc de décharger de la boîte une quantité déterminée tandis que, dans toute autre position de cet organe, on peut à volonté distribuer une quantité plus ou moins grande de la matière contenue dans la boite.
Les avantages de l'invention sautent aux yeux. La boîte demeure fermée quand on en extrait le contenu ou une partie du contenu et on n'a pas besoin d'une cuiller ou d'un antre ustensile analogue pour prélever une certaine quantité de matière. La boîte est très hygiénique et pratique pour l'usa- ge journalier et, de plus, elle écarte toutes pertes dues à des souillures ou à d'autres causes.

Sur la figure 1, le chiffre 1 représente la boîte proprement dite, qui se compose d'une partie supérieure 2 et d'une partie inférieure 3.
La partie supérieure 2 forme le réservoir d'alimentation dont le fond 4 est légèrement incliné vers l'avant et dont la partie inférieure est munie d'une ouverture de décharge 5. La partie inférieure 3 est munie d'une pièce 7 en forme d'U qui s'entend en dehors de laboîte en forme d'un bec 6. La pièce 7 sert à guider l'or- gane mobile mentionné plus loin, lequel peut être guidé éga- lement par la face inférieure du fond 4 du réservoir d'ali- mentation. La pièce 7 est un organe essentiel du dispositif de décharge.
L'organe mobile en question consiste en un tiroir 9: en forme d'auge renversée fermée à l'extérieur, et pourvue, à sa partie supérieure, d'un orifice 10. Le tiroir forme-ainsi une chambre dans laquelle uniquement une quantité déterminée de la matière en poudre, dépendant des dimensions de la chambre, peut être enfermée.
