la fig. 1 est une vue simplifiée en coupe axiale selon la ligne I-I de la fig. 3 d'un dispositif selon l'invention constituant un dispositif doseur;
la fig. 2 est une coupe selon la ligne II-II de la fig. 1 montrant une position angulaire différente de l'organe distributeur du dispositif;
la fig. 3 est une vue de dessus du dispositif selon la fig. 1;
la fig. 4 est une vue de dessous du dispositif dans une position selon la fig. 2;
La fig. 5 est une vue simplifiée, en coupe axiale selon la ligne V-V de la fig. 7, d'une autre forme d'exécution du dispositif selon l'invention;
La fig. 6 est une coupe selon la ligne VI-VI de la fig. 5;
The present invention relates to a device for dispensing a pulverulent material contained in a box, this device being arranged so that it can be fixed removably on this box, or forming an integral part thereof.
The invention aims to provide a device of this type which makes it possible to distribute pulverulent materials in a simple and clean manner, while also ensuring the closure of the boxes containing these materials.
The invention proposes in particular to provide such a device, the manufacture of which can reach a very low cost price for the targeted applications. These applications are in particular the distribution of products for daily consumption, such as ground coffee or powders based on chocolate or cocoa for the preparation of beverages, as well as other powdered food products, powdered cleaning products, etc., these applications being able to extend to powdery products used in the craft industry and in industry.
To this end, the dispensing device according to the invention is characterized by the features mentioned in claim 1. A particular embodiment described in claim 2 is intended to provide a device of this type for dispensing well-determined quantities of this material, thus serving as a real metering device. Claims 3 to 7 and 11 describe particular embodiments of this device. Claims 8 to 10 and 11 describe another embodiment of the device according to the invention.
Other particularities, aspects, aims and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description given below of two embodiments of the device according to the invention. This description refers to the appended drawings in which:
fig. 1 is a simplified view in axial section along the line I-I of FIG. 3 of a device according to the invention constituting a metering device;
fig. 2 is a section along line II-II of FIG. 1 showing a different angular position of the dispensing member of the device;
fig. 3 is a top view of the device according to FIG. 1;
fig. 4 is a bottom view of the device in a position according to FIG. 2;
Fig. 5 is a simplified view, in axial section along the line V-V in FIG. 7, of another embodiment of the device according to the invention;
Fig. 6 is a section along the line VI-VI of FIG. 5;
Fig. 7 is a top view of the device according to FIG. 5, and
Fig. 8 is a bottom view of the device as shown in FIG. 6.
Figs. 1 to 4 show the basic structure of an embodiment of the device according to the invention. This device comprises an essentially cylindrical body part 1 which can be arranged, in a manner not shown, so that it can be fixed on a box containing the material to be dispensed, for example in the manner of a cover, and be preferably made of a plastic material, but may also be at least partially made of metal. The body part 1 can, in one embodiment, be an integral part of the box itself, of which it then constitutes a fixed cover.
The body part 1 has a peripheral wall part 1 min and also comprises an inner wall part 2. The latter comprises, in the present example, a frustoconical portion 2 min and a portion in the form of a spherical zone 2 min min, of which the free edge delimits a dispensing opening 3.
A rotary distributor member 4 is formed by a solid having a spherical envelope whose center and diameter are substantially coincident with those of the spherical zone 2 min min. The dispensing member 4 comprises, in this example, two cavities 5, 5 min which each have a circular opening formed by the intersection of a plane with said spherical envelope.
The member 4 is rotatably mounted relative to the body part 1 of the device, being integral with an axis 6 housed in the body part and capable of being actuated by a button 7 located outside this part of body.
For the use of this device, the box containing the pulverulent material is placed, the wall of which can be located in the extension of the peripheral wall 1 min, in a substantially vertical position in which the pulverulent material contained in the interior volume 8 is located above the distributor member 4. In the angular position of this member shown in FIG. 1, the cavity 5 will thus be filled with powder. This starting position can, for example, be marked or be defined by a mechanism, such as a latching mechanism not shown. It also constitutes a preferred closed position, the interior surface of the wall portion 2 min min surrounding solid portions of the metering member so as to achieve effective closure.
Fig. 2 shows an intermediate angular position of the distributor member in which the cavity 5, after a clockwise rotation of the member 4, is located opposite the interior wall portion 2 min min, the quantity of powder to be dispensed being defined by the volume of the cavity and the space between it and the portion of wall which closes it. Continuing the rotation of the member 4 in the same direction, the powder will pass through the opening 3 and may fall into a container placed under the device.
Continuing the rotation of the dispensing member for a new half-turn, we find the same position as that illustrated in FIG. 1 with the cavity 5 min occupying the place of the cavity 5 in this figure.
Figs. 5 to 8 show another embodiment of the device according to the invention.
In this example, the body part 10 comprises a substantially cylindrical wall 11, closed in a transverse plane by a portion 12, this portion having a circular central opening 13.
A rotary distributor member 14 is constituted by a hemispherical cup forming a cavity 15. A two-part axis 16, 16 min is integral with the member 14 and is housed in the wall 11, an actuation button 17 being mounted on the outside of this wall at the end of the axle part 16.
The rotation of the member 14 from the closed position shown in the figures allows the powder contained in the box to flow into a container placed under the opening 13, for example until the container is completely filled. A new rotation to the position shown makes it possible to close the opening 13.
The advantages of a device according to the invention appear clearly in the case of the distribution of a chocolate powder for the preparation of a drink, for example. The dispensing device can be integral or remain integral with the box and the distribution no longer requiring other utensils, the distribution and metering of the powder are greatly simplified. It will also be noted that the actuation of the device can have a non-negligible playful aspect, in particular for children.
The dimensions of the reserve boxes of many pulverulent products of daily use and boxes used in crafts and industry being practically the same, the device according to the invention can easily be adapted to each of these boxes. It can also be designed so that it can be fixed on boxes of slightly different diameters. It thus allows very wide applications and therefore mass production at a relatively low cost price, in particular thanks to the simplicity of the overall structure of the device and of its constituent parts, as well as of its mounting.
