Abstract

Système de commande de la vitesse de transport pour une installation de recuisson d'un ruban de verre, installation qui comprend des rouleaux (1) successifs pour transporter le ruban de verre à travers une arche tunnel de recuisson, un dispositif d'entraînement (2) des rouleaux divisés en une série de groupes (I, II, III) des moyens de détection de la vitesse de rotation de la surface périphérique de chacun des rouleaux, et des moyens (3) de commande sélective de la vitesse d'entraînement circonférentielle de chacun des rouleaux en réponse à un signal émis par les moyens de détection, les moyens de commande (3) entraînant à des vitesses élevées les groupes de rouleaux en contact avec la partie en aval du ruban de verre et à des vitesses plus faibles les groupes de rouleaux en contact avec la partie en amont du ruban de verre, lesdits moyens de commande (3) contrôlant la différence de vitesse entre les rouleaux de vitesse supérieure et ceux de vitesse inférieure et agissant sur les différences de vitesse d'un même rouleau.
