Abstract
Formation d'une masse réfractaire contenant du carbone sur une surface par projection d'un mélange de particules réfractaires et de particules combustibles (contenant un élément dont l'oxydation produit un oxyde réfractaire) qui réagissent de manière exothermique avec de l'oxygène en libérant suffisamment de chaleur pour fondre au moins de la surface des particules réfractaires. Le mélange contient aussi des particules d'une matière carbonée dont la taille ou la composition sont telles que des particules de carbone sont emprisonnées dans la masse réfractaire formée. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la réparation de parois constituées de réfractaires du type MgO-Carbone.
