Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour la protection des parois réfractaires des récipients métallurgiques. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que, au moyen d'une lance de projection munie de conduits appropriés, on projette sur une plage d'une paroi réfractaire, par exemple d'un récipient métallurgique, une poudre réfractaire comportant au moins un oxyde réfractaire et dont la température est, à proximité immédiate de la plage considérée, a une valeur de préférence non inférieure à celle de ladite plage. Application au titre de protection ou de réparation, à des récipients tels que par exemple des convertisseurs, des poches-torpilles, des conduits de passage des bains métalliques liquides dans les installations de traitement sous vide des métaux, etc.
