Etuis für Schmucksachen werden in der Weise hergestellt, dass zunächst ein eingeweichter Holzstreifen mittels heisser Eisen über eine Form, die der Gestalt des herzustellenden Etuis entspricht, gebogen wird, worauf die Enden des Streifens übereinandergeleimt werden. Auf die so

Schliesslich wird das auf diese Weise erhaltene Holzgcrippc in üblicher Weise überzogen, und die beiden Teile werden aneinandergelenkt und sonst zweck- entsprechend adjustiert.
