Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tonarmen und anderen Schallführungen für Sprech-oder ähnliche Apparate. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tonarmen und anderen Schallführungen, wie Schalltrichter und Schalldosen, für Sprech- oder ähnliche Apparate unter Verwendung von Harzen und ähnlichen Stoffen. Bei bekannten Verfahren dieser Art hat man bisher als Grundstoff Filz, Pappe oder einen sonstigen Faserstoff verwendet, der entweder vor oder nach dein Tränken mit Harz in die gewünschte Form gepreßt wird. Demgegenüber besteht das Verfahren gemäß der Erfindung darin, daß die Schallführung aus den sogenannten Kunstharzen, d. i. Kondensationsprodukten von Phenolen und Formaldehyd, in der an sich bekannten Weise durch Formen aus der Platte oder Pressen oder Gießen aus plastischer oder flüssiger Masse hergestellt wird. Durch dieses Verfahren wird außer einer Verbilligung der Herstellung eine Verbesserung der Schallwirkung bezweckt, da die durch die Einlage aus Wollfilz öder ähnlichem Material verursachte schalldämpfende Wirkung in Fortfall kommt, und die aus Kunstharz bestehende Schallführung bei großer Festigkeit eine dem Harzholz ähnliche Klangwirkung besitzt. Man kann diesen Kondensationsprodukten, wie bekannt, Füllmittel indifferenter Natur, wie Sägespäne, Talkum, Kreide USW., zusetzen, um ihre Elastizität zu erhöhen oder ihnen sonstige Eigenschaften zu verleihen. Solche Stoffe sind im Handel als Luxid, Fermit, Lithoid, Utilit usw. bekannt. Für die Herstellung der Schallführungen aus den Kunstharzen kann, wie bereits angedeutet, jedes hierzu geeignete Verfahren verwendet werden, wie beispielsweise Formen durch Pressen aus flacher Platte, Pressen aus weicher oder plastischer Masse oder Gießen in flüssigem Zustande und darauffolgendes Härten durch Erwärmen. Hierbei können die Schallführungen in an sich bekannter Weise in mehreren Längsteilen, vorzugsweise in zwei Längshälften, erzeugt und dann die beiden Hälften mittels eines geeigneten Bindemittels, beispielsweise Klebe- oder Kittmittel, oder auch mechanisch zu einem Ganzen vereinigt bzw. zusammengesetzt werden.Process for the production of tonearms and other sound guides for intercom or similar devices.
