Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Zahnpaste, bestehend aus einer Masse, die Glycerin, eine abrasive Fällungskieselsäure und eine hochdisperse pyrogene Kieselsäure, Carboxymethylcellulose und Natriumhydroxidlösung enthält, sowie auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer solchen Zahnpaste.
Die wesentlichen Aufgaben einer Zahnpaste bestehen in der mechanischen und chemischen Reinigung 5 der Zähne und Zahnzwischenräume, dem Polieren und Aufhellen der Zähne, der Vorbeugung von Zahn-und Zahnfleischerkrankungen, wie Karies und Parodontose, und auch der Beseitigung bzw. Überdeckung von Mundgeruch. Zahnpasten enthalten daher verschiedene, bestimmten Funktionen zugeordnete Bestandteile und Wirkstoffe, wobei vielfach Glycerin als Grundsubstanz und verschiedene Kieselsäuren als Reinigungsmittel dienen. Glycerin erlaubt nicht nur eine gleichmäßige Verteilung aller Bestandteile und Wirkstof-io fe ohne deren Beeinträchtigung, sondern macht auch die Masse der Zahnpaste gut streichfähig. Bei den Kieselsäuren wird zwischen pyrogenen Kieselsäuren, beispielsweise Aerosil, und Fäilungskieselsäuren, beispielsweise Sident, unterschieden, wobei die einzelnen Typen verschiedene physikalisch-chemische Eigenschaften, wie spezifische Oberflächengröße, Teilchengröße, Trocknungsverluste od. dgl., aufweisen. Sie sind von amorpher Struktur und weitgehend indifferent und ergeben im Milieu der Mundschleimhaut gut 75 verträgliche kugelförmige Putzkörperchen. Carboxymethylcellulose wird dabei als Gleitmittel und Bindeglied zwischen den Kieselsäuretypen beigegeben und ist ein physiologisch einwandfreies Derivat der natürlichen Polymercellulose. Als übliches schaumbildendes Mittel enthält die Grundmasse eine Natriumhydroxidlösung. Diese bekannten Zahnpasten sind allerdings hauptsächlich auf ihre Reinigungsaufgaben hin abgestimmt, wobei oft eine zu grobe und daher die Zahnoberfläche schädigende Wirkung auftritt und vor allem 20 ein Schutzeffekt für die Zähne fehlt.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine neue Zahnpaste der eingangs geschilderten Art zu schaffen, die nicht nur eine äußerst schonende Reinigung mit sich bringt, sondern darüber hinaus auch eine krankheitsvorbeugende und zahnschützende Funktion erfüllt. Außerdem soll ein Verfahren zur rationellen Herstellung einer solchen Zahnpaste angegeben werden. 25 Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß die Masse als Zusatzstoffe Nelkenöl und/oder Chlorophyll und/oder Ascorbinsäure und/oder ein Wachs mit mikrokristalliner Struktur und/oder ein Placenta-Extrakt beinhaltet.
Zweckmäßig ist es dabei, wenn die Masse aus 36 Gew.% Fällungskieselsäure, 18 Gew.% Glycerin, 13 Gew.% pyrogene Kieselsäure, 11 Gew.% Ascorbinsäure, 10 Gew.% Carboxymethylcellulose, 4 Gew.% 30 Wasser, 2 Gew.% Nelkenöl, 2 Gew.% Chlorophyll, 2 Gew.% Wachs mit mikrokristalliner Struktur, 1 Gew.% Natriumhydroxidlösung (I0%ig) und 1 Gew.% Placenta-Extrakt besteht.
Um diese Bestandteile und Zusatzstoffe gut zu einer gleichmäßigen, streichfähigen Masse verarbeiten zu können, werden erfindungsgemäß eine Komponente aus Glycerin, Carboxymethylcellulose, Nelkenöl, Chlorophyll, Natriumhydroxidlösung und Wasser sowie eine weitere Komponente aus Fällungskieselsäure 35 und pyrogener Kieselsäure, Glycerin, Wachs mit kristalliner Struktur und Placenta-Extrakt zusammengerührt und dann beide Substanzen unter Beigabe von Ascorbinsäure zur fertigen Masse vermischt.
Die neue Zahnpaste bringt nicht nur einen zahnschonenden und dennoch hochwirksamen Reinigungseffekt mit sich, sondern ergibt auch je nach den gewählten Zusatzstoffen ein spezielles antibakterielles, entzündungshemmendes, adstringierendes, regenerierendes und schutzbildendes Mittel, wobei insbesondere re biologische Stoffe dem Zahn und dem Zahnfleisch zu Hilfe kommen.
Das Nelkenöl erfüllt dabei aufgrund seines besonderen Bitterstoffes die wichtige Aufgabe der Verschorfung, die vor allem bei empfindlichen Zahnhälsen eine große Rolle spielt. Durch diese Verschorfung entzündlicher Prozesse wird krankes Gewebe abgestoßen und der Bakterienbelag vermindert. Außerdem sorgt der Gerbstoff des Nelkenöls für eine Verharzung der feinen Dentinkanälchen und verhindert so das 45 Eindringen von Bakterien in diese Kanälchen, wobei die Verharzung zugleich eine Desensibilisierung der Zahnhälse mit sich bringt. Auch die adstringierende und heilende Wirkung des Nelkenöles auf das Zahnfleisch erhöht die Effektivität dieses ätherischen Öles.
Chlorophyll wiederum ist als Anästetikum und Antiseptikum eine wertvolle Bereicherung der Zahnpasteneigenschaften, so daß ein schmerzstillender Effekt für das Zannfleisch entsteht. 50 Ascorbinsäure, also Vitamin C, dient zur Beeinflussung von Enzymen in einer für den Mundbereich besonders wertvollen Weise, da auf natürlichem Wege die Plaque-Bildung verhindert und dadurch der Entzündungsgefahr des Zahnfleisches weitgehend vorgebeugt wird. Vor allem im Bereich der Zahnfächer und der aus dem Zahnfleisch herausragenden Zähne ist ja die Gefahr der Belagsbildung durch Speisereste und Bakterien sehr groß und entzündliche Prozesse können die Zahnhälse und Zahnfächer freilegen, was 55 den Beginn der gefürchteten Parodontose bedeutet.
Wachs mit mikrokristalliner Struktur, beispielsweise Lunaflex MB, ist chemisch ein verzweigtkettiger und cycloaliphatischer Kohlenwasserstoff, der desodoriert und indifferent gemacht wurde und heutigen gesund-heits- und lebensmittelrechtlichen Anforderungen voll entspricht, und stellt eine Polierpaste dar, die durch 2

- AT 397 612 B eine Art Versiegelung den Zähnen über Stunden hinaus Schutz gegen Plaque-Bildung bietet. Da auch kleinstkömige Putzkörper beim mechanischen Reinigen Kratzspuren auf der Zahnoberfläche hinterlassen, die mit der Zeit Angriffspunkte für Gärungssäuren und bakterielle Enzyme bilden, die früher oder später zu Karies führen, kann dieser Prozeß durch eine Schutzschicht unterbunden werden. Lunaflex MB löst dazu 5 aufgrund der hohen Säurezahl (0,1 - DIN 51558) die anorganische Hartsubstanz des Zahnes in minimalster Form an und schafft damit die Grundvoraus- Setzung, um eine rauhe Oberfläche durch Reibbewegung glätten zu können. Die Verseifung in Lunaflex MB ermöglicht es außerdem, die Zahnoberfläche bestens zu polieren, so daß insgesamt eine Art Imprägnierung der Zahnoberfläche erfolgt. Placenta-Extrakt, wie Placentol wiederum wird zur Einwirkung auf die Mundschleimhaut und zur io Förderung der Mundschleimhautregeneration zugegeben, was deshalb wichtig ist, weil krankes Mundschleimhautgewebe vom Körper abgestoßen wird und zu Parodontose führen kann. Placentol ist ein wässriges Extrakt aus ungeborenen Rinderplacenten und wird in der Medizin als Hautregenerationsmittel verwendet. Es aktiviert die Gewebe-Regeneration durch erhöhten Sauerstoffverbrauch der Zellen und belebt dadurch das Gewebe, so daß die von einer Schleimschicht benetzte Schleimhaut ihre Wirkung und 75 Schutzfunktion für die Mundflora in gewünschtem Ausmaß ausüben und eine normale Mundflora für gesundes Zahnfleisch sorgen kann. Ausführungsbeispiel: 2o Zur Herstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Zahnpaste werden zwei Komponenten vorbereitet. Für die erste Komponente werden, auf das Gesamtgewicht der fertigen Paste bezogen, 10 % Glycerol mit 10 % Carboxymethylcelluiose angeteigt und der Menge 2 % Nelkenöl und 2 % Chlorophyll beigegeben. Um einen schaumigen Effekt zu erreichen, wird 1 % Natriumhydroxidlösung (10.%ig) mit 4 % Wasser vermengt und ebenfalls dem Teig zugemischt. 25 Die zweite Komponente wird in einem gesonderten Behälter angerührt, in dem 36 % Sident und 13 % Aerosil unter Zugabe von 8 % Glycerol vermengt werden, worauf 2 % Lunaflex MB, das auf etwa 32 · C erwärmt ist, durch ein Rührwerk zugerührt und dann 1 % Placentol unter vorsichtigem Weiterrühren beigemischt werden. Die beiden vorbereiteten Komponenten werden nun in einer Unterdruck-Knetmaschine unter leichter 30 Erwärmung vermengt und bis zu einer luftfreien Masse geknetet, wobei der Masse als Abschluß 11 % Ascorbinsäure beigegeben werden. Es entsteht eine Zahnpaste, die sich durch ihre schonende Reinigungswirkung auszeichnet, darüber hinaus aber auch antibakterielle, entzündungshemmende, zahnschützende, adstringierende und anregende Eigenschaften besitzt. 35 Patentansprüche 1. Zahnpaste, bestehend aus einer Masse, die Glycerin, eine abrasive Fällungskieselsäure und eine hochdisperse pyrogene Kieselsäure, Carboxymethylcelluiose und Natriumhydroxidlösung enthält, da- 40 durch gekennzeichnet, daß die Masse als Zusatzstoffe Nelkenöl und/oder Chlorophyll und/oder Ascorbinsäure und/oder ein Wachs mit mikrokristalliner Struktur und/oder ein Placenta-Extrakt beinhaltet.
- 2. Zahnpaste nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Masse aus 36 Gew.% Fällungskiesel-45 säure, 18 Gew.% Glycerin, 13 Gew.% pyrogene Kieselsäure, 11 Gew.% Ascorbinsäure, 10 Gew.% Carboxymethylcelluiose, 4 Gew.% Wasser, 2 Gew.% Nelkenöl, 2 Gew.% Chlorophyll, 2 Gew.% Wachs mit mikrokristalliner Struktur, 1 Gew.% Natriumhydroxidlösung (10%ig) und 1 Gew.% Placenta-Extrakt besteht. so 3. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Zahnpaste nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Komponente aus Glycerin, Carboxymethylcelluiose, Nelkenöl, Chlorophyll, Natriumhydroxidlösung und Wasser sowie eine weitere Komponente aus Fällungskieselsäure und pyrogener Kieselsäure, Glycerin, Wachs mit kristalliner Struktur und PlacentaExtrakt zusammengerührt und dann beide Komponenten unter Beigabe von Ascorbinsäure zur fertigen Masse vermischt werden.
