<Desc/Clms Page number 1> Verfahren zur Herstellung von geformten, bleifreien Isolierkörpern EMI1.1 <Desc/Clms Page number 2> Die Zusammensetzung der glasbildenden Verbindung wird derart gewählt, dass eine eutektische Zu- sammensetzung mit erhöhter Temperaturbeständigkeit erzielt wird. Die Verkürzung und Vereinfachung des Prozesses besteht hauptsächlich darin, dass durch Verwendung der Borate die Bildung des Glases un- mittelbar beim Ausbrennen der Formgegenstände im Ofen gemeinsam mit Glimmer, ohne vorangehende Verfrittung der glasbildenden Verbindungen ermöglicht wird. Die glasbildenden Verbindungen werden derart gewählt, dass beim fortschreitenden Ausbrennen im Ofen keine Gase entstehen, die Homogenität der Produkte nicht gestört wird und die elektrischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften der Produkte nicht verschlechtert werden. Eine weitere wichtige Verbesserung der Erfindung besteht darin, dass Sb, oder oder als Haft- EMI2.1 klemmen u. dgl. Zwecks Beschleunigung der Glasbildung und dessen Klärung bei gleichzeitiger Attackierung der Glimmerpartikel an der Oberfläche und zwecks Verbesserung der mechanischen Eigenschaften enthält I das Gemisch auch Zink-Fluorid, Alkali-Fluoride, Erdalkali-Fluoride und Aluminium-Fluoride. Es sei nun zum besseren Verständnis der Erfindung ein Ausführungsbeispiel angeführt. Abfallglimmer der als Muskovit oder Flugopit bezeichneten Art oder deren Gemisch wird in be- kannter Weise in kleine Teilchen gemahlen und in Grössen von weniger als 0, 30 mm sortiert. Der ge- mahlene Glimmer wird dann im Trockenzustand mit fein gemahlenen, glasbildenden Verbindungen im Verhältnis von zirka 50 bis'70% Glimmer und 30 bis 50% glasbildenden Verbindungen, annähernd der folgenden Zusammensetzung vermischt : 10 Teile Barium (ortho) borat 15 Teile Zink (ortho) borat 3 Teile Magnesium (ortho) borat 2 Teile Antimontrioxyd 45 Teile Borax 20 Teile Kryolith 5 Teile Natriumphosphat 100 Teile EMI2.2 dann getrocknet. Die trockenen Tabletten werden in einem Ofen bei einer Temperatur von etwa 5500C erwärmt und danach unter einem Druck von etwa 200 kg/cm2 in einem erwärmten Gerät bei einerTemperatur von etwa 300 C geformt. Die Presslinge werden dann aus dem Gerät herausgenommen und auf Normaltemperatur temperiert. Das oben angeführte Beispiel beschränkt nicht den Erfindungsbereich.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH : Verfahren zur Herstellung von geformten, bleifreien Isolierkörpern für Konstruktions-, Elektroisolations-und Hochfrequenzzwecke durch Warmpressen einer Mischung von gemahlenem, gefilztem, natürlichem oder synthetischem Glimmer und einem glasbildenden Bestandteil, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Mischung. 30 - 50 Gew..11/o des glasbildenden Bestandteiles enthält, welcher aus 20-70 Gew.-% Borax, 5-30 Gew.-% Kryolith, 0, 5-20 Gew.-% Sb Og, ferner (ortho) borsaures Barium, (ortho) borsaures Zink und (ortho) borsaures Magnesium in einer Gesamtmenge von 5 bis 60 Gew.-%, EMI2.3 einer fortschreitenden Erwärmung bis zur Sinterung der glasbildenden Verbindungen ausgesetzt werden, worauf aus diesen Tabletten im warmen Zustand Formgegenstände, vorzugsweise mit eingelegten Metallstücken, gepresst werden.
