Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo de fijación de tira reactiva configurado para usarse en un método para determinar una concentración de un analito en un líquido corporal mediante el uso de un dispositivo móvil que tiene una cámara, en donde dicho método comprende capturar con la cámara al menos una imagen que contiene al menos una parte de una tira reactiva óptica y al menos una parte de dicho dispositivo de fijación de tira reactiva, en donde la tira reactiva óptica tiene una muestra del líquido corporal aplicada en la región de prueba de reactivo de la tira reactiva óptica, en donde la imagen comprende al menos una parte de la región de prueba de reactivo que tiene la muestra del líquido corporal aplicada en esta, y en donde la imagen comprende al menos una parte de una superficie superior del dispositivo de fijación de tira reactiva; en donde dicho dispositivo de fijación de tira reactiva comprende a) una forma esencialmente plana; b) una porción de corte; c) una superficie superior que comprende una pluralidad de campos de referencia de color que tienen valores de color de referencia conocidos, que incluyen campos de referencia grises que se disponen localmente alrededor de la porción de corte y alrededor de al menos algunos de los campos de referencia de color que no son grises; y que comprende elementos de código de detección de posición; d) una superficie inferior que comprende un elemento de fijación para conexión desmontable de la tira reactiva óptica con respecto a dicho dispositivo de fijación de tira reactiva, de modo que la región de prueba de reactivo pueda alinearse con la porción de corte.
