Abstract

Se proporciona un método capaz de producir de manera industrial y eficiente el ácido acético que produce un buen resultado de prueba de permanganato de potasio, sin costar mucho; en el método de producción de ácido acético, (1) el acetaldehído subproducido se elimina industrialmente de forma ventajosa de una corriente de proceso, y (2) una concentración de crotonaldehído en una corriente de ácido acético de una columna de fracciones ligeras se controla a un nivel específico o inferior, y/o una proporción de reflujo en una segunda columna de destilación se controla a 0.1 o más; además, (3) el método incluye el paso de someter al menos una de una fase acuosa y una fase orgánica de un condensado superior de columna de fracciones ligeras a destilación en una columna de eliminación de crotonaldehído; la columna de fracciones ligeras funciona a una proporción de reflujo de 2 o más (cuando la fase acuosa se somete a reflujo); y la columna de eliminación de crotonaldehído se opera de manera que cumpla una condición o condiciones específicas.
