Abstract

Se utilizan preferiblemente interferómetros MZ (Mach-Zender) modificados para analizar el frente de onda asférico transmitido de una lente oftálmica montando la lente en una cubeta que tiene un carrusel rotativo que puede contener múltiples lentes. Se hace circular solución salina fresca, de temperatura controlada, alrededor de las lentes, y la cubeta se coloca en un brazo vertical de prueba de la configuración interferométrica. Se utiliza preferiblemente trazado de rayos inverso para quitar aberraciones inducidas en el frente de onda cuando se representa desde inmediatamente detrás de la lente al detector del interferómetro.
