Abstract
Se proporcionan constructos de vector y métodos para expresar un transgen en células de planta y/o tejidos de planta utilizando elementos regulatorios de gen, que incluyen los promotores, 5-UTRs, y/o 3-UTRs, aislados de Zea mays. Reivindicación 1: Un vector de ácido nucleico que comprende un promotor operativamente unido a i) una secuencia de poliligador; ii) un transgen sin clorofila a/b o iii) una combinación de i) y ii), en donde dicho promotor comprende SEC ID Nº 1 o una secuencia que tiene 90% en identidad de secuencia con SEC ID Nº 1. Reivindicación 6: El vector de ácido nucleico de la reivindicación 5 en donde el transgen codifica un marcador seleccionable o un producto de gen que confiere resistencia a insecticidas, tolerancia a herbicidas, eficacia de uso de nitrógeno, eficacia de uso de agua, o calidad nutricional.
