Abstract
En la presente se describe un método para producir un polipéptido en una célula procariótica, que comprende el paso de cultivar una célula procariótica que comprende uno o más ácidos nucleicos que codifican al polipéptido, en un medio de crecimiento mínimo definido químicamente, y recuperar el polipéptido a partir de la célula procariótica o del periplasma de la célula procariótica o del medio, donde la célula procariótica es una célula procariótica de auxotrofia para aminoácidos revertida, donde el crecimiento de la célula procariótica de auxotrofía para aminoácidos revertida, en comparación con la célula procariótica no reparada, en las mismas condiciones de cultivo y en el mismo medio de crecimiento, requiere la suplementación de menos aminoácidos al medio de crecimiento, y donde el medio de crecimiento mínimo definido químicamente está libre del aminoácido que corresponde a la auxotrofía que se ha reparado en la célula procariótica de auxotrofía revertida.
