Abstract
Se proveen sistemas, dispositivos y métodos para la extrusión continua de tochos de material. Un conjunto de matriz para la extrusión con prensa de un material, incluye una pluralidad de placas de matriz formando un cuerpo de matriz. El cuerpo de matriz tiene una entrada y una salida con un diámetro más pequeño que la entrada, con una superficie ahusada entre la entrada y la salida. Cada placa de matriz tiene un orificio central con una superficie interior ahusada, y las superficies interiores forman la superficie ahusada que se extiende desde la entrada hasta la salida. Una base está acoplada al cuerpo de matriz y la rotación de la base produce la rotación del cuerpo de matriz. Se calienta un tocho presionado dentro del cuerpo de matriz debido a la fricción entre la superficie interior y una superficie externa del tocho. El tocho se calienta hasta una temperatura de deformación y se extruye formando un producto de tubo mientras se presiona desde la entrada y la salida del cuerpo de matriz.
