Abstract
Se describen sistemas, dispositivos y métodos para enfriar materiales extruídos. En ciertas realizaciones, se provee un tubo de templado que incluye una pared interna y una pared externa con un canal entre ellas para transportar el fluido de enfriamiento a lo largo del tubo de templado. Un pasaje dentro de la superficie interna de la pared interna recibe un material extruído a través de una boquilla formada en un extremo del tubo de templado que distribuye el fluido de enfriamiento al material extruído. El canal puede tener estar inclinado en la boquilla para distribuir el fluido de enfriamiento a un ángulo con respecto al tubo de templado, y el tubo de templado está configurado para extenderse, al menos en parte, dentro de una matriz de extrusión. Reivindicación 17: Un método para templar un material extruído, el método está caracterizado porque comprende: ubicar tubo de templado elongado en un lateral de salida de una matriz de extrusión, donde el tubo de templado incluye una boquilla que está ubicada dentro de, al menos, una porción de la matriz de extrusión; presionar el material extruído a través de la matriz de extrusión, donde el material extruído pasa a través de la boquilla hacia adentro del tubo de templado; y distribuir el fluido de enfriamiento hacia el material extruído a través de la boquilla mientas el material extruído sale de la matriz de extrusión, donde el fluido de enfriamiento se distribuye a un ángulo determinado con respecto al tubo de templado.
