Abstract
Se describen sistemas, dispositivos y métodos para enfriar materiales extruidos. En ciertas modalidades, se provee un tubo de templado que incluye una pared interna y una pared externa con un canal entre ellas para transportar el fluido de enfriamiento a lo largo del tubo de templado. Un pasaje dentro de la superficie interna de la pared interna recibe un material extruido a través de una boquilla formada en un extremo del tubo de templado que distribuye el fluido de enfriamiento al material extruido. El canal puede tener estar inclinado en la boquilla para distribuir el fluido de enfriamiento a un ángulo con respecto al tubo de templado, y el tubo de templado está configurado para extenderse, al menos en parte, dentro de una matriz de extrusión.
