Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un método para aislar un 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilboronato sustituido, que comprende: agregar un gas de dióxido de carbono o un sólido de dióxido de carbono (hielo seco) a una solución que comprende un 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilboronato sustituido, un solvente orgánico inerte, y al menos una sal de litio para hacer reaccionar la al menos una sal de litio con el gas de dióxido de carbono y formar una mezcla que comprende al 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilboronato sustituido, el solvente orgánico inerte y un sólido precipitado; y retirar el sólido precipitado de la mezcla. Reivindicación 6: Un método para sintetizar y asilar el 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-metoxifenilboronato de dimetilo, que comprende: poner en contacto una solución que comprende 2-cloro-6-fluoranisol y 1,2-dimetoxietano con n-butil litio para formar una mezcla de reacción que comprende 6-cloro-2-flúor-3-litioanisol y el 1,2-dimetoxietano; contactar la mezcla de reacción con el borato de trimetilo para formar una solución salinizada de fenilboronato que comprende 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-metoxifenilboronato de dimetilo, el 1,2-dimetoxietano, y al menos una sal de litio; introducir un gas de dióxido de carbono o un sólido de dióxido de carbono (hielo seco) a la solución salinizada de fenilboronato para formar una mezcla que comprende al 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-metoxifenilboronato de dimetilo, el 1,2-dimetoxietano, y el metilcarbonato de litio; y separar el metilcarbonato de litio para formar una solución desalinizada de fenilboronato que comprende al 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-metoxifenilboronato de dimetilo y el 1, 2-dimetoxietano. Reivindicación 10: Un método para usar un 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilboronato sustituido que comprende hacer reaccionar el 4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilboronato sustituido con 4-acetilamino-3, 6-dicloropiridin-2-carboxilato de metilo para producir un metil-4-acetilamino-3-cloro-6-(4-cloro-2-flúor-3-fenilo sustituido)piridin-2-carboxilato.
