Abstract

Un proceso para hidrogenar ácidos alcanoicos en presencia de un catalizador que comprende soportes, uno o más metales, óxido de tungsteno, y al menos un óxido de metal alcalinotérreo o metasilicato. La relación molar del al menos un óxido de metal alcalinotérreo o metasilicato respecto del óxido de tungsteno, en base a los metales, es de 1:3 a 5:1.
