Abstract
También se proporcionan métodos para el uso de estas células. Específicamente se divulga la utilidad de las deleciones genéticas combinadas de b-glucosidasas y el gen represor de catabolitos creA/cre-1 para la secreción de proteínas en células de hongos y levaduras.Reivindicación 1: Un método para aumentar la secreción de una proteína desde una célula, método que comprende: (a) proporcionar una célula mutante, donde la célula mutante comprende mutaciones desactivantes en dos o más genes de b-glucosidasa; y (b) poner en contacto a dicha célula mutante con biomasa celulósica, donde dicha biomasa celulósica induce a la célula mutante a segregar dicha proteína. Reivindicación 56: Una célula mutante que comprende mutaciones desactivantes en dos o más genes de b-glucosidasa, donde la biomasa celulósica induce a la célula a segregar niveles más elevados de una proteína que los de una célula correspondiente que carece de dicha mutación en los dos genes o más de b-glucosidasa.
