Abstract
Un método para predecir la estabilidad de una corriente de proceso de hidrocarburos. El método incluye obtener muestras provenientes de una o más corrientes de proceso y medir la estabilidad real y la absorbancia espectral en el infrarrojo cercano de aquellas muestras. Inicialmente se desarrolla un modelo de clasificacion para identificar los subconjuntos de muestras y modelos de correlacion creados usando los datos de estabilidad y absorbancia, insertando dichos datos en una funcion matemática. Luego se toman mediciones en línea o fuera de línea de la corriente de proceso de hidrocarburos, e inicialmente se utiliza el modelo de clasificacion para identificar el subconjunto y el correspondiente modelo de correlacion que se utiliza para predecir la estabilidad de la corriente.
