Abstract
Métodos para la transformacion de células o tejido de soja y la regeneracion de las células o tejido de soja en plantas transformadas. Los métodos que se divulgan utilizan un explante preparado a partir de una plántula de soja inmadura que se puede inducir directamente a partir de brotes que dan origen a plantas transgénicas por organogénesis. Dichos métodos seleccionan entre diferentes explantes a las semillas de soja inmaduras en las etapas de desarrollo R5 tardía, R6 o R7. Las construcciones genéticas que se ponen en contacto con el explante comprenden Un gen de interés y un gen marcador de seleccion que le confiere resistencia a un antibiotico o a un herbicida. El cultivo del explante se realiza en un medio de regeneracion con hormona vegetal, lo cual induce formacion de brotes. Se realiza el transplante del brote transgénico en tierra humeda (humedad relativa de menos de 80%) y con una intensidad lumínica entre 50-150 uE/m2/seg., estimulando la generacion de raíces y crecimiento del brote. Los métodos descritos no requieren germinacion, son rápidos y eficientes.
