Se provee un compuesto orgánico de azufre que tiene un excelente efecto de control sobre artropodos daninos que está representado por formula (1), en donde R1 representa un grupo haloalquilo C3-6 que tiene al menos un átomo de fluor y al menos unátomo seleccionado del grupo que consiste en un átomo de cloro, un átomo de bromo y un átomo de yodo, R2 representa un grupo ciano y similares, R3 representa un átomo de hidrogeno, un átomo de halogeno o un grupo alquilo C1-4, R4 representa un grupofluoroalquilo C1-5, y n representa 0, 1 o 2.
