Abstract

La presente invencion provee un sistema para el suministro de una droga, el cual comprende al menos un compartimiento, que comprende: (i) una capa central de un polímero termoplástico cargado con la droga; (ii) una capa intermedia de un polímero termoplástico cargado con la droga y (iii) un revestimiento polimérico termoplástico, sin medicacion, que cubre la capa intermedia, donde dicha capa central está cargada con cristales de un primer compuesto (farmacéuticamente) activo y dicha capa intermedia está cargada con cristales del segundo compuesto (farmacéuticamente) activo. Reivindicacion 5: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4, caracterizado porque el sistema de suministro tiene la forma de un anillo, un implante, un sistema intrauterino (IUS), un dispositivo helicoidal o un espiral. Reivindicacion 10 Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 8 a 9, en el cual el progestágeno se selecciona del grupo que consiste en acetato de nomegestrol (NOMAc), progesterona natural, didrogesterona, medrogestona, acetato de medroxiprogesterona, acetato de megestrol, acetato de clormadinona, acetato de ciproterona, caproato de gestonorona, demegestona, promegestona, nestorona, trimegestona, noretisterona (= noretindrona) acetato de noretisterona, linestrenol, acetato de etinodiol, noretinodrel, norgestrel, norgestimato, dienogest, drospirenona y cualquier otro compuesto esteroideo adecuado con actividad progestagénica. Reivindicacion 11: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 8 a 9, en el cual el estrogeno se selecciona del grupo que consiste en: estradiol, etinil-estradiol, estriol, estetrol, ésteres de los mismos, pseudopolimorfos de los mismos, solvatos farmacéuticamente aceptables de los mismos, hidratos de los mismos, hemihidratos de los mismos y cualquier otro compuesto esteroideo adecuado con actividad estrogénica. Reivindicacion 12: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 10, en el cual el progestágeno es acetato de nomegestrol. Reivindicacion 34: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 1 a 30, caracterizado porque la capa intermedia contiene, adicionalmente, un agente antimicrobiano. Reivindicacion 35: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 1 a 30, caracterizado porque el nucleo contiene, adicionalmente, un agente antimicrobiano. Reivindicacion 36: Un sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes, caracterizado porque el dispositivo contiene dos compartimientos. Reivindicacion 48: Un método de brindar en forma concomitante, un método de anticoncepcion y tratar o prevenir un enfermedad de transmision sexual, el cual comprende los pasos de: (i) colocar el sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 34 a 37 dentro del tracto vaginal femenino; y (ii) retener el sistema dentro del tracto vaginal durante al menos 24 días aproximadamente. Reivindicacion 52: El uso del sistema para el suministro de una droga de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 34 a 37, para la fabricacion de una preparacion combinada, para proveer un método de anticoncepcion y para tratar y/o prevenir una enfermedad de transmision sexual.
