Abstract
Método de tratamiento del cáncer usando inhibidores PARP como agentes de radiosensibilización de tumores. Reivindicación 1: Un método para el tratamiento del cáncer, mediante la administración de un agente radiosensibilizante de la fórmula (1), o una de sus formas de sal aceptables para uso farmacéutico, donde X es H o una porción de profármaco, a un mamífero que sufre de cáncer; y la aplicación de radiación ionizante a dicho tejido mamífero. Reivindicación 8: El método de la reivindicación 1, donde la porción de profármaco se selecciona del grupo que consiste en -CH2NR1R2, -CH2OC(=O)R3, -CH2OP(=O)(OH)2 y -C(=O)R4; donde R1 es H o alquilo C1-4; R2 es H o alquilo C1-4; alternativamente, R1 y R2, junto con el átomo de N al cual están unidos, forman un grupo heterociclilo seleccionado de pirrolilo, pirrolidinilo, piperidinilo, morfolinilo, tiomorfolinilo y piperazinilo, donde dicho grupo heterociclilo está opcionalmente sustituido con alquilo C1-4; R3 se selecciona del grupo que consiste en -alquilo C1-4-NR1R2, -alquilo C1-4-OR5, piridinilo, -fenil(CH2NR1R2) y -CH(R6)NH2; R4 se selecciona del grupo que consiste en -O-(alquilo C1-4)-NR1R2, -O-(alquilo C1-4)-OR5 y -CH(R6)NH2; R5 es H o alquilo C1-4; y R6 es la cadena lateral de un aminoácido natural. Reivindicación 19: Una composición farmacéutica para la radiosensibilización de células cancerosas, que comprende una cantidad radiosensibilizante de un compuesto de la fórmula (1) o una de sus formas de sal aceptables para uso farmacéutico, donde X es H o una porción de profármaco; y un portador aceptable para uso farmacéutico. Reivindicación 24: Un compuesto de la fórmula (2) o una de sus formas de sal aceptables para uso farmacéutico.
