Abstract

La invencion describe una multicapa de polímero de cristal líquido colestérico (CLCP), en donde al menos dos capas de CLCP que difieren en al menos una propiedad optica se disponen una sobre la otra, caracterizada porque dichas al menos dos capas forman enlaces químicos cruzados entre capas a través de la red de polímeros, tales como formar un cuerpo solido singular mecánicamente que se puede transformar en un pigmento sin deterioro de su estructura interna, y que tiene un cambio abrupto de separacion de cristal líquido colestérico en la interfaz entre dichas al menos dos capas de polímero de cristal líquido colestérico. También se describen los correspondientes pigmentos, composiciones de cubierta y el uso de impresiones de seguridad y decorativas, y aplicaciones de cubierta.
