Abstract

Un método para controlar un unidad de datos orientada a la comunicacion entre un emisor y un receptor que operan de acuerdo con un protocolo de comunicacion predeterminado, y un dispositivo de comunicacion para comunicacion orientada. Un protocolo es usado segun el cual el emisor divide una cantidad de datos a ser enviados en una o más unidades de datos que tiene una estructura determinada por dicho protocolo, y el receptor reconoce la recepcion correcta de las unidades de datos por medio de la devolucion a dicho emisor de unidades de datos de reconocimiento. Las unidades de datos son enviadas por dicho emisor de acuerdo con un procedimiento de control de flujo que involucra un o más parámetros adaptables y dichas unidades de datos de reconocimiento. Después de que una dada unidad de datos es enviada, el emisor realiza una rutina de deteccion de pérdida de datos, y si ocurre un evento de disparo, es conducido un procedimiento de respuesta correspondiente, donde este procedimiento de respuesta comprende al menos dos diferentes modos para adaptar dicho uno o más parámetros adaptables. En esta forma, la presente es capaz de responder en forma flexible a un evento de pérdida potencial de datos. Preferiblemente, hay un primer y segundo modo, donde el primer modo está asociado con el reconocimiento que una demora excesiva ha tenido lugar y no una pérdida de una unidad, de manera que medidas específicas adaptadas a esta situacion pueden ser tomadas, y puede ser evitada la aplicacion de medidas erroneas que empeoran la situacion.
