Abstract
Las composiciones antitranspirantes de aluminio y aluminio-circonio de eficacia realzada y valores de pH de C al menos 3.5 se provee tal que se producen por reaccion con sales insolubles, fuertemente alcalinas de estroncio o calcio. Las composiciones de aluminio y aluminio-circonio con estroncio o calcio muestran valores elevados de pH con proporciones características en HPLC de la banda III con respecto de la banda II al menos 0.5. Las soluciones de halohidrato (o nitrato) básico de aluminio típicamente tienen una proporcion de aluminio con respecto a los aniones de menos que 1.9. Las composiciones de la solucion son estables con respecto tanto a la proporcion de la Banda III con respecto a la Banda II en HPLC y la viscosidad a concentraciones desde alrededor del 20% hasta el 40% del peso de los solidos anhidros. El estado solido de las composiciones forma barras duras con baja irritacion, a cantidades bajas de metales en proporcion a los cloruros desde 0.9 hasta 1.2. Reivindicacion 1: un método de preparacion de una composicion antitranspirante líquida teniendo eficacia mejorada y un valor de pH de al menos 3.5 cuando está disuelta en un 15% del peso de la solucion acuosa y en la cual la composicion comprende un activo antitranspirante seleccionado de (i) sales básicas de aluminio teniendo la formula Al2(OH)6-aXa en la cual X es Cl, Br, I o NO3, a es desde 1.1 hasta 1.6 aproximadamente, a una concentracion de entre el 20% al 40% del peso de los solidos anhidros y teniendo una relacion molar del aluminio con respecto a los aniones de entre 1.0 hasta 1.8 aproximadamente (ii) sales de aluminio-circonio teniendo una relacion Al:Zr desde alrededor de 2:1 hasta alrededor de 10:1 que son obtenidas por adicion a las sales de formula (i) de compuestos de circonio seleccionados de aquellos teniendo la formula en la cual b es un numero desde 0 hasta 1.2, y X es Cl, Br, I o NO3, los pasos comprendidos: (1) el tratamiento de la mezcla de reaccion acuosa de dicho activo antitranspirante con desde el 0.1% hasta el 2% aproximadamente del peso de un aditivo seleccionado del grupo que consiste en compuestos fuertemente alcalinos, insolubles en agua de calcio y estroncio y mezclas de los mismos.
