Abstract

El objeto de la presente trata de un producto soldado en aleación Al-Zn-Mg-Cu, que contiene (en porcentajes másicos) Mg 4,85-5,35; Mn 0,20-0,50; Zn 0,20-0,45; Cr < 0,15; Si < 0,20; Fe< 0,30; Cu < 0,25; Ti < 0,15; Zr < 0,15; siendo el resto aluminio con sus inevitables impurezas. Este producto presenta de manera preferentemente un alargamiento de rotura A(TL) de al menos 24% y un parámetro Rm(TL) * A(TL) de al menos 8500. Demuestra una buena resistencia a la corrosión por presión e intergranular. Puede usarse para la construcción soldada, principalmente cisternas, carrocerías de automóviles y vehículos industriales.
