Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår et sveiset produkt av Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-legering som kjennetegnes ved at det inneholder i vektprosent: Mg 4,85-5,35, Mn 0,20-0,50, Zn 0,20-0,45, Si < 0,20, Fe < 0,30, Cu < 0,25, Cr < 0,15, Ti < 0,15, Zr < 0,15 idet resten er aluminium med uunngåelige forurensninger. Produktet oppviser fortrinnsvis en bruddforlengelse A(T) på i det minste 24%, og en parameter Rm(T) x A(T) på i det minste 8500. Det oppviser en god spenningskorrosjonsmotstand og intergranulær korrosjonsmotstand. Det kan anvendes for sveisekonstruksjoner, særlig beholdere, bilkarosserier og industrielle kjøretøyer.
