Abstract

Se describen métodos de preparación de catalizadores bimetálicos. Los métodos incluyen las etapas de proporcionar un catalizador no metaloceno sostenido, poner en contacto una suspensión del catalizador no metaloceno sostenido en un hidrocarburo no polar con una solución de un compuesto metaloceno y un alumoxano, y secar el producto de contacto para obtener un catalizador bimetálico sostenido. El catalizador no metaloceno sostenido se prepara deshidratando un material de soporte de partículas a una temperatura superior a 600°C, preparando una suspensión del soporte deshidratado en un hidrocarburo no polar, poniendo en contacto la suspensión con un compuesto de organomagnesio y un alcohol, poniendo en contacto la suspensión resultante con un compuesto no metaloceno de un metal de transición del Grupo 4 ó del Grupo 5, y secando el producto de contacto para obtener un catalizador no metaloceno sostenido como un polvo de libre fluido. Los catalizadores bimetálicos muestran incrementada actividad en relación a los catalizadores preparados usando materiales de soporte deshidratados a temperaturas inferiores.
