Abstract

Se provee un motor de combustión interna OHC (árboles de levas en cabeza) convencional que presenta un cárter, un cigüenal soportado en cojinetes de rodillo sobre el cárter, y un tren de válvula que incluye una rueda dentada motriz montada sobre el cigüenal, y una cadena de distribución del árbol de levas que pasa por la rueda dentada motriz con una placa de retención de cadena de distribución del árbol de levas para retener la cadena de distribución del árbol de levas sobre la rueda motriz, y una tapa de sujeción de tope restrictor del movimiento axial para mantener un tope restrictor del movimiento axial presionado contra el cojinete de rodillos para restringir al cojinete de rodillos de movimiento axial. De acuerdo con la presente invención, una placa de retención de cadena de distribución del árbol de levas (31, 33) presenta una parte extrema (31 a, 33a) para evitar que una cadena de distribución del árbol de levas (10) se desprenda de una rueda dentada motriz (7) y una parte de sujeción de tope restrictor del movimiento axial para sujetar un tope restrictor del movimiento axial. La cantidad de piezas y trabajo de armado se puede reducir.
