Abstract

Se describe la familia de monooxigenasa P450, cada miembro de las cuales oxida regioselectivamente avermectina a 4''ceto-avermectina. Las monooxigenasas P450 encuentran uso en los métodos y formulaciones para preparar emamectina a partir de avermectina. Asimismo, se describen métodos para purificar las monooxigenasas P450 de la invención, los agentes adherentes que se deben específicamente a las monooxigenasas P450 de la invención, y células genéticamente manipuladas que expresan las monooxigenasas P450 de la invención. Asimismo se describen ferrodoxinas y ferrodoxinas reductasas que son activas con las monooxigenasas P450 .
