Abstract

Se describe una familia de monooxigenasa P450, cada miembro de las cuales oxida regioselectivamente avermectina a 4"ceto-avermectina. Las monooxigenasas P450 encuentran uso en los metodos y formulaciones para preparar emamectina a partir de avermectina. Asimismo, se describen metodos para purificar las monooxigenasas P450 de la invencion, los agentes adherentes que se deben especificamente a las monooxigenasas P450 de la invencion, y celulas geneticamente manipuladas que expresan las monooxigenasas P450 de la invencion. Asimismo se describen ferredoxinas y ferredoxinas reductasas que son activas con las monooxigenasas P450 de la invencion.
