Abstract
Un método para la remocion de contaminantes de hidrocarburos, tales como dienos y olefinas, de un reformado de aromáticos, por medio del contacto de una corriente de reformado de aromáticos con un catalizador de hidrotratamiento y/o tamiz molecular. El catalizador de hidrotratamiento convierte sustancialmente todos los dienos en oligomeros, y convierte parcialmente las olefinas en alquilaromáticos. El tamiz molecular convierte las olefinas en alquilaromáticos. El método proporciona un producto reducido en olefinas, que puede ser pasado a través de un tratante de arcilla para convertir sustancialmente las olefinas remanentes en alquilaromáticos. El catalizador de hidrotratamiento tiene un componente metálico de níquel, cobalto, cromo, vanadio, molibdeno, tungsteno, níquel - molibdeno, cobalto - níquel - molibdeno, níquel - tungsteno, cobalto - molibdeno o níquel - tungsteno - titanio, siendo preferido un catalizador de níquel molibdeno / alumina. El tamiz molecular es una zeolita de tamano de poro intermedio, con preferencia MCM-22. El tratamiento de arcilla se puede llevar a cabo con cualquier arcilla adecuada para el tratamiento de hidrocarburos.
