Abstract

Las secuencias de codigo optimas son generadas para ser utilizadas en funciones de dispersion y agrupamiento en un sistema de comunicaciones de accesomultiple por division de codigo (CDMA). En particular, se utiliza una familia de codigos dedispersi on de fase cuádruple que provee un numero máximo de codigosde dispersion para obtener una alta capacidad en el sistema de comunicaciones CDMA teniendo al mismo tiempo un pico mínimo de correlacion cruzada entrecualesquiera dos codigos dedispersion e n esa familia para asegurar que la interferencia de correlacion cruzada se mantenga en o por debajo de los nivelesaceptables. Esta familia de codigo de dispersion de fase cuádruple es la familia S(2) de secuencias de codigo de cuatrofases de longitu d L = 2m-1, donde m esun entero mayor o igual que 5. El tamano de la familia S(2) de codigos de dispersion cuaternarios es (L + 2)(L + 1)2, y la correlacion cruzada máxima es1 + 4 (L + 1)1/2. Los codigos de dispersion sonpreferentemente asignados a estaciones base que utilizan subconjuntos específicos de codigo de la familia S(2)que tengan las mismas propiedades de correlacion cruzada que las familias de codigos S(0) y/o S(1). Los codigos de dispersion sonventajosamente extendidos poruno o más símbolos de codigo segun sea necesario o de otra manera deseable. Por ejemplo para sustentar servicios de velocidad de transmision variable, esdeseable emplear codigos de dispersion cuya longitud pueda serexpresada como un entero multiplo de cada f actor de dispersion en el sistema de comunicacionesmovil. Dado que los codigos de dispersion individuales tienen una longitud de 2m-1, un símbolo de codigo es anadido al codigo de dispersion generado.
