Abstract
Se describe un sistema y método para detectar y seleccionar picos en una senal de perfil de potencia de retardo (DPP). Se utiliza un umbral adaptablepara determinar trayectorias válidas en la senal de DPP. El umbral adaptable se determina midiendo larelacion senal a ruido de la senal de DPP yajustando el umbral a fin de reducir al mínimo las faltas de detecciones y las falsas alarmas en la estimacion de la trayectoria. Para determinarla relacion senal a ruido, el sistema emplea un proceso iterativo mediante el cual se realizan una estimacion primaria y una estimacion elaborada delruido.
