Abstract

Un método para el control del perforante europeo del maíz (Ostrinia nubilalis) que consiste en poner en contacto dicha plaga con una cantidadpesticida de una toxina de Bacillus thuringiensis donde dicha toxina tiene una característica seleccionada entre el grupo que consiste en: (a) dichatoxina comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos que tiene por lo menos aproximadamente 75% de homología con una secuencia seleccionada entre elgrupo que consiste en SEC.ID.NO. 70, SEC.ID.NO. 72, SEC.ID.NO. 74, SEC.ID.NO. 76, SEC.ID. NO.78, SEC.ID.NO. 80, SEC.ID.NO. 82, SEC.ID.NO. 84, SEC.ID.NO. 86,SEC.ID.NO. 88, SEC.ID. NO. 90, SEC.ID. NO.92, SEC.ID. NO.94, SEC.ID.NO.96, SEC. ID.NO.98, SEC.ID.NO.100, SEC.ID. NO.102 y SEC.ID. NO. 104;(b) dicha toxinacomprende una secuencia de aminoácidos codificada por un nucleotido que se hibrida con una secuencia de nucleotidos que codifica una secuencia deaminoácidos seleccionada entre el grupo que consiste en SEC.ID.NO. 70, SEC.ID. NO.72, SEC.ID.NO. 74, SEC.ID.NO.76, SEC.ID.NO.78, SEC.ID.NO.80, SEC.ID.NO. 82,SEC. ID. NO.84, SEC.ID.NO. 86, SEC.ID.NO. 88, SEC.ID.NO. 90, SEC.ID.NO. 92, SEC.ID.
