Abstract

Una composicion de éster sintético que exhibe estabilidad térmica y oxidativa, menor coeficiente de friccion y menor desgaste, donde la composicionde éster comprende el producto de reaccion de: alcohol lineal o ramificado que tiene la formula general R(OH)n, donde R es un grupo alifático o cicloalifáticoque tiene desde aproximadamente 2 a 20 átomos de carbono y n es por lo menos 2; y por lo menos un ácido lineal y/o ramificado que tiene un numero de carbono enel rango de entre aproximadamente C4 a C20 donde la composicion de éster sintético tiene un numero hidroxilo de entre aproximadamente más de 5 a 180,preferiblemente de entre aproximadamente más de 5 a 100 y aun más preferiblemente de entre aproximadamente10 a 80. Un aceite lubricante quese prepara a partir de por lo menos dicha composicion de éster sintético y uso de la composicion con el proposito de incrementar la estabilidad térmica yoxidativa de un aceite totalmente formulado.
