Abstract

Clavo para la cavidad intramedular para el tratamiento de fracturas de la cadera, que comprende un cuerpo solido elongado con una porcion proximal (2)por lo menos un orificio para acomodar correspondientes tornillos (9, 10) para la estabilizaciondel cuello femoral, unido a una porcion distal (3) con porlo menos un orificio distal (16) para acomodar por lo menos un tornillo de diáfisis para la estabilizacion de la porcion distal del femur. La porcionproximal (2) tiene un diámetro fip sustancialmente constante apto para ser anclado en una cavidad del femur de longitud relativamente limitada parareducir la pérdida de sangre, mientras que la porcion distal (3) tiene un diámetro fid sustancialmente constante menor que el de dicha porcion proximalpara ser fácilmente instalado en el canal médula del femur sin perforaciones de taladro. Las porciones (2, 3) proximal y distal son sustancialmente rectilíneasy forman entre sí un ángulo de desviacion (Beta) predeterminado en unplano lateral. La porcion proximal (2) presenta un par de orificios inclinados (7, 8)capaces de alojar respectivos tornillos cefálicos (9, 10) para el anclaje de la cabeza femoral.
