Claims (19)
- 足首癒合デバイスであって、
全体に、第1長さ方向軸線に沿って延びる近位部分であって、近位端および第1留め穴を有する近位部分を備え、
前記近位部分は、前記近位端が前記第1長さ方向軸線から第1方向に所定距離離間されるように弓形の湾曲を有し、
前記第1留め穴は、第1留め具を第1留め具軸線に沿って受け入れるように構成され、
前記足首癒合デバイスは、さらに、前記近位部分から遠位端まで第2長さ方向軸線に沿って延びる遠位部分を備え、
前記第2長さ方向軸線は、前記第1長さ方向軸線に対して第2方向および第3方向に傾いており、
前記第2方向は、前記第1方向に対して垂直であり、
前記第3方向は、前記第1方向とは反対方向であり、
前記遠位部分は、第2留め具を第2留め具軸線に沿って受け入れるように構成された第2留め穴を有する
足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第2留め穴は、細長く、
前記遠位部分は、更に、
前記遠位端から前記第2長さ方向軸線に沿って近位方向に延びる、少なくとも一部にねじ山が設けられた穴と、
第3留め具を第3留め具軸線に沿って受け入れるように構成された、細長い第3留め穴と
を有する
足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項2に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
更に、前記穴内に受け入れられ、該穴内で前記第2長さ方向軸線に沿って移動するように構成された圧縮ねじを備えた
足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項3に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記圧縮ねじは、
前記第3留め具が前記第3留め穴に受け入れられたときに前記第3留め具と接触するように構成された凹状面を有する係合部分と、
前記係合部分に取り付けることができ、前記穴の前記ねじ山と係合するように構成された外ねじを有する、ねじ部分と
を備えた足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項2に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記穴は、前記遠位部分の全体に亘っては延びていない、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項2に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
更に、閉鎖した遠位端と、前記穴の前記ねじ山と係合するように構成された外ねじと、を有する端キャップ固定ねじを備えた、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記遠位部分は、第3留め具を第3留め具軸線に沿って受け入れるように構成された第3留め穴を有する、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項7に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第2留め具軸線は、前記第3留め具軸線に対して傾いた方向を向いた、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項7に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第3留め具軸線は、前記足首癒合デバイスが埋め込まれた状態において、距骨の最長寸法と実質的に整合するように構成されている、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記近位部分は、更に、第4留め具を第4留め具軸線に沿って受け入れるように構成された第4留め穴を有する、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項10に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第4留め具軸線と前記第1留め具軸線とは、実質的に平行である、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項10に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第4留め穴は細長い、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記遠位端は、前記第1長さ方向軸線に対して略垂直な切取表面であって、前記第2長さ方向軸線に対して傾いた方向を向いた切取表面を有する、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記第2留め具軸線は、前記足首癒合デバイスが埋め込まれた状態において、踵骨の最長寸法と実質的に整合するように構成されている、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
前記足首癒合デバイスは、前記足首癒合デバイスが体内に埋め込まれた状態において、前記近位部分が脛骨内に延び、前記遠位部分が踵骨を通って延びるような構成および寸法を備えており、
前記第1方向は前方方向であり、前記第2方向は外側方向であり、前記第3方向は後方方向である

前記近位部分の全体は、前記第1方向に弓形をなしている、足首癒合デバイス。 - 請求項1に記載の足首癒合デバイスであって、
