Abstract

GARRA INTRAMEDULAR. A garra intramedular (1) é designada, em particular, para a tíbia, e tem uma extremidade distal (2) para inserção no canal medular, uma extremidade proximal (3), um eixo geométrico central (4), e uma forma geralmente similar à haste sobre o comprimento de furo L. A garra (1) tem três seções de travamento distintas (5, 6, 7) com pelo menos um furo atravessante (8) cada para recebimento de parafusos de travamento, pelo que referidas três seções de travamento (5, 6, 7) são separadas uma da outra por duas seções intermediárias distintas (9, 10) tendo menos furos atravessantes (8) por unidade de comprimento do que cada uma de referidas seções de travamento (5, 6, 7).
