Claims (16)
- 骨を治療するための装置であって、
骨の内部の中で受けるインプラントであって、前記インプラントはそれを通って伸びる複数の交差する孔およびそれ自身の長さの少なくとも一部に沿ったインプラントの中で伸びる空洞を含み、前記交差する孔のそれぞれは前記空洞を通って伸びて骨固定要素のそれを通って受けるために寸法取りされている、インプラントと、
前記空洞で摺動自在に受ける複数のインサートであって、各インサートはそれを通って伸びるインサート開口を含み、前記インサートは前記空洞の中で整列され、それにより各インサート開口は前記交差する孔のうち対応するものと整列され、各インサートは、そのインサート開口の幅が前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される骨固定要素の幅よりも小さい静止形状、および前記インサート開口の幅が前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される前記骨固定要素よりも大きい幅へ拡張される強調形状の間で動作可能である、インサートと、
前記インサートを前記静止形状から強調形状へ動かすために前記インサートへ力を適用するために前記空洞の中へ動作可能な圧縮部材であって、前記圧縮部材の離脱が前記インサートを静止形状へ戻すことを可能にするために前記インサートへ適用される力を減少させる、圧縮部材と、
を含む、装置。 - 前記インサートは前記空洞の中でもう一つ別のインサートに積み重なっており、前記圧縮部材は圧縮力を前記インサートの最近位へ適用するために前記空洞の近位端の中へ挿入可能なボルトを含み、前記圧縮力は一つのインサートから前記積み重ねを通って他へ送られる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートのうち第一のものの開口の内部接触面は前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される骨固定要素の外部面とかみ合いを固定させるための摩擦強化要素を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される前記インサートと骨固定要素との間の摩擦接触を増加させるための、前記内部接触面上で形成される切り欠きをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記摩擦強化要素は突起部、切り欠き、複数の歯およびメスのねじ切りの一つである、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートの第一の近位端は前記インプラントの長手方向軸に関してテーパ状面角度を含み、そこで近位に隣接する前記インサートの第二の遠位端は前記対応するインサート開口によってお互いに分かれる一組のアームを含み、前記第二インサートのアームの遠位端は前記第一インサートのテーパ状面をはめ込み、その結果、前記第一インサートのテーパ状面を超えて遠位に動かされる時、前記第二インサートのアームが前記開口の幅を増やすお互いから離れて放射状に広がる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートのそれぞれは前記対応するインサート開口によってお互いに広がる一組の遠位の伸長アームを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートが選択される材料で形成され、前記静止形状と強調形状との間のそれの変形が弾性である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートはコバルトクロムで形成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記交差する孔はねじ山である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記インサートのそれぞれは前記空洞の形状に合い、その結果、前記インサートは前記インサート開口が前記交差する孔のうち対応するものと整列される方向内にだけ、そこへ挿入することができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 骨を治療するためのシステムであって、
骨の内部の中で受けるインプラントであって、前記インプラントはそこを通って伸びる複数の交差する孔を含み、かつ、空洞がその長さの少なくとも一部に沿った前記インプラントの内部に伸び、前記交差する孔のそれぞれは前記空洞を通って伸びる、インプラントと、
複数の骨固定要素であって、前記骨固定要素のそれぞれは前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通る挿入のために寸法取りされている、骨固定要素と、
前記空洞内で摺動自在に受ける複数のインサートであって、各インサートはそこを通って伸びるインサート開口を含み、前記インサートは前記空洞の中で整列され、各インサート開口は前記交差する孔の対応するものと整列し、各インサートはそのインサート開口の幅が前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される前記骨固定要素の幅よりも小さい静止形状と前記インサート開口の幅が前記交差する孔のうち対応するものを通って挿入される前記骨固定要素よりも大きい幅へ拡大される強調形状との間で動作可能である、インサートと、
前記静止形状から前記強調形状へ前記インサートを動かす前記インサートへ力を適用するために前記空洞の中へ動作可能な圧縮部材であって、前記圧縮部材の離脱は静止形状へその中で受ける前記骨固定要素を掴むために前記インサートを戻すことを可能にする前記インサートへ適用する前記力を減らす、圧縮部材と、
を含む、システム。 - 前記骨固定要素のうち第一のものはそれの少なくとも一部の長さに沿って伸びる対立する平らにされた壁を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記骨固定要素のうち第二のものはねじ山である、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記骨固定要素のうち第二のものはそれのシャフトの長手方向軸へ平行に伸びる複数の横溝を含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記骨固定要素のうち第二のものは骨固定ねじのそれを通って挿入を可能にする一部分を通って伸びる孔をさらに含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
