Abstract

Un cable que comprende una lámina de una composición de polietileno caracterizada porque la composición de polietileno comprende: (A) del 5 al 95%en peso de la composición total de por lo menos un primer polímero que es un interpolímero deetileno/O-olefina que posee: (1) una densidad de 0,865 g/cm3 a0,95g/cm3, (1) una distribución de peso molecular (Mw/Mn) de 1,8 a 3,5 (3) un índice de fusión (I2) de 0,001g/10 min. a 10g/10 min y (4) un IRDC (CBDI) mayordel 50%, (B) del 5% al 95% en peso de la composición total de por lo menos un segundo polímero que es un polímero de etileno heterogéneamente ramificado o unhomopolímero de etileno homogéneamente ramificado con una densidad de 0,9 g/cm3 a 0,965 g/cm3. El cable de la presenteinvención tiene propiedades mecánicassuperiores y superior procesabilidad con relación al cable convencional que utiliza polímeros actuales tales como densidad lineal (LLDPE), ypolivinilcloruro (PVD).
