Abstract

Se trata de un método para preparar gránulos endurecidos a partir de un material dividido, mezclando dicho material con un aglutinante inorgánicoacuoso; convertir la mezcla húmeda resultante en gránulos y endurecer los mismos, en el quese: (i) selecciona un material en partículas que consta deingredientes adecuados como materia prima o como un agente en un proceso químico o físico determinado; (ii) llevar dicho material a un tamano dedistribución apto para la distribuciónadecu ado para el agregado en forma de gránulos; (iii) formar y mezclar una mezcla que contenga el material enpartículas y un aglutinante inorgánico acuoso seleccionado del grupo de aglutinantes calcáreos,de cemento,cemento hidráulico,cemento P ortland, cementocon alto contenido de alúmina, una mezcla de una fuente de hidróxido de calcio con una fuente de silicio, limo, yeso y dolomita; lograr un contenido húmedopara obtener una mezcla granulable; (iv) formar gránulos; (v)endurecer dichos gránulos a una temperatura superior a la temperatura ambiente y por debajo dela temperatura de ebullición evitando la adherencia entre los gránulos y se extrae la humedad excesiva de los gránulos; (vi) retirar losgránulosendurecidos como compo nente de alimentación para dicho proceso seleccionado.
