Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo procedimiento para la preparación de sílice precipitado el cual posee una muy buena dispersabilidad ymuy satisfactorias propiedades de refuerzo. Asimismo, se refiere a sílices precipitadosnu evos los cuales se encuentran en forma de polvo, de perlassubstancialmente esféricas o de gránulos; estos sílices se caracterizan por el hecho de que poseen una superficie específica CTAB comprendida entre 100 y 240m2/g, una absorción de aceiteDOP menor que 300 ml/100 g., una distribución de poros tal que el volumen de poros consistente en los poros cuyo diámetro estácomprendido entre 175 y 275 A representa menos que el 50% del volumen de poros consistente en los poros de diámetro queson me nores o iguales a 400 A, undiámetro medio, luego de la desintegración con ultrasonido, menor que 5 µ y un contenido de aluminio de, como mínimo, el 0,35% en peso. La invención tambiénse refiere al uso de dichos sílices como un relleno derefuerzo pa ra los elastómeros.
