Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to a gel-type cleaning composition that is attached to hard surfaces such as toilet bowls, glass, windows, doors, and bathroom walls, and that can continuously inhibit the formation of black spots.
- various cleaning agent compositions have been used to remove dirt adhering to hard surfaces such as toilet bowls and to create a hygienic environment.
- a cleaning agent composition for a flush toilet an on-tank or in-tank toilet cleaning agent designed to be placed in the hand washing section or water tank of a flush toilet so that the cleaning agent can be dissolved in the flush water is used.
- tankless flush toilets have become widespread, and on-tank or in-tank toilet cleaning agent compositions have the disadvantage that they cannot be applied to tankless flush toilets. Therefore, in recent years, gel-type cleaning agent compositions that are attached to the surface of a toilet bowl have been developed.
- Patent Document 1 reports that by attaching a toilet gel-type cleaning agent containing polyoxyethylene alkyl ether composed of polyoxyethylene with a polymerization degree of 13 to 50 and an alkyl group with 12 to 18 carbon atoms to the surface of a toilet bowl, the cleaning agent can be continuously released into the running water while remaining attached to the surface of the toilet bowl even when it comes into contact with running water.
- inorganic and organic substances form insoluble salts, which serve as substrates for the formation of black stains caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and mold.
- Cleaning compositions used in wet products, where such microorganisms are likely to adhere and grow, are generally given disinfecting or bactericidal properties.
- the objective of this disclosure is to provide a gel-type cleanser composition that can sustainably inhibit the formation of dark spots.
- the inventors conducted extensive research to solve the above problems and discovered that the formation of black spots can be sustainably suppressed by adding a volatile antifungal agent to a gel-like detergent composition containing a polyoxyalkylene block polymer.
- the present disclosure was completed based on this knowledge and through further research.
- Item 1 A gel-like detergent composition comprising a polyoxyalkylene block polymer and a volatile antifungal agent.
- Item 2. The gel detergent composition according to Item 1, wherein the volatile antifungal agent is at least one aldehyde selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic aldehyde, an alicyclic aldehyde, an aromatic aldehyde, and a terpene aldehyde.
- Item 3 The gel cleansing composition according to Item 1 or 2, which is used to inhibit blackening of a flush toilet bowl.
- the gel-type detergent composition of the present disclosure contains a polyoxyalkylene block polymer, the gel state can be stably and sustainedly maintained during use. This can suppress excessive volatilization of the volatile antifungal agent in the gel-type detergent composition.
- the volatile antifungal agent when running water comes into contact with the surface of the gel-type detergent composition, gradually dissolves in the water and is diluted, causing the volatile antifungal agent to volatilize and diffuse widely in the space, so that the antifungal effect is sustained not only on hard surfaces that come into contact with the water containing the detergent composition, but also on hard surfaces that do not come into contact with the water containing the detergent composition, and the formation of black spots can be sustained.
- the notation X to Y regarding a numerical range means greater than or equal to X and less than or equal to Y.

Abstract
