Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial für Zigaretten, Heat-not-burn Artikel oder Tabakprodukte umfassend ein Basispapier (1) und eine funktionelle Beschichtung (2) des Basispapiers (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basispapier (1) zumindest einen Faserersatzstoff umfasst und die funktionelle Beschichtung (2) in einer Menge von 0,1 bis 20 g/m2 vorliegt, wobei das Basispapier (1) Weizen-Strohfasern und/oder Grasfasern aus Grasschnitt in einem Anteil von 5 bis 40 Gew.% enthält und Zellulosefasern in einem Anteil von 60 bis 95 Gew.%.

Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial
Die Erfindung betri f ft ein Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial für Zigaretten, Heat-not-burn Artikel oder Tabakprodukte .
Eine Zigarette und ein Heat-not-Burn Artikel umfasst j eweils ein aerosolerzeugendes Substrat , beispielsweise in Form eines Tabakstrangs , und einen Filter . Eine Zigarette und ein Heat-not- Burn Artikel umfasst j eweils ein Mundstückbelagpapier, welches zumindest im Bereich des Filters vorliegt .
Die CN 114875720 A ein Einlegeblatt für ein Zigarettenetui , welches Tencel f asern, Weichhol z zellstof f fasern und Tabakfasern enthält .
Die DE 102019100112 Al betri f ft ein Segment eines Rauchartikels , in Form eines Filters oder eines Kühlsegments , wobei das Segment von einem Umhüllungsmaterial umhüllt ist . Die DE 102019100112 Al nennt mögliche Quellen für die Zellstof f fasern des Segments . Für das Umhüllungsmaterial hingegen ist nur angegeben, dass dieses aus Papier bestehen kann .
Die CN112779818 (A) betri f ft ein Zigarettenpapier, welches den Tabakstrang umhüllt . Das Zigarettenpapier umfasst unter anderem 60- 85 Teile von superfeinem Tabakpulver und 15-40 Teile Zellulosefasern . In einer Auf zählung einer Viel zahl von möglichen Quellen der Zellulosefasern werden auch Gras und Stroh genannt .
Die Erfindung betri f ft in einer ersten Variante ein Mundstückbelagpapier für Zigaretten und Heat-Not-Burn Konsumartikeln bzw . allgemein von Mundstücken von aero so loer zeugenden Konsumartikeln .
Das Mundstückbelagpapier, oft auch als „Tippingpapier" oder kurz "Tipping" bezeichnet , ist j ener Teil des aerosoloer zeugenden Konsumartikels , welcher beim Rauchen einer Filterzigarette bzw . beim Erhitzen des Heat-Not-Burn Konsumartikels durch die Lippen der Person berührt wird . Das Mundstückbelagpapier umhüllt den Filterteil und ragt üblicherweise in Längsrichtung des Konsumartikels auch geringfügig in den Längsbereich des
Tabakstranges bzw . des aerosolerzeugenden Substrats und umhüllt dort das Zigarettenpapier bzw . das Hüllmaterial des aerosolerzeugenden Substrats . Das Mundstückbelagpapier bildet das äußerste Hüllmaterial eines aerosolerzeugenden Konsumartikels und wird im Gegensatz zum Zigarettenpapier bei Verwendung des Konsumartikels nicht verbrannt .
Das Mundstückbelagpapier ist zumeist tatsächlich ein Papier, es kann aber auch eine Folie sein oder auch ein Verbundmaterial aus mehreren Schichten verschiedener Materialien .
Oft weist das Mundstückbelagpapier eine Bedruckung auf . Beispielsweise kann diese Bedruckung an Kork erinnern . Es werden aber auch Mundstückbelagpapiere verwendet , welche im Bereich, welcher durch die Lippen berührt wird, weiß vorliegen .
Die Erfindung betri f ft in einer zweiten Variante ein Verpackungsmaterial für Zigaretten, Heat-Not-Burn Konsumartikel oder Tabakwaren . Insbesondere betri f ft die zweite Variante einen Innerliner . Der Innerliner ist die innere , flexible Hülle einer aus mehreren ineinander liegenden Hüllen bestehenden Verpackung, wobei die den Innerliner umgebende Hülle meist aus einem stei feren Material besteht . Als weitere Verpackungsmaterialien können Pouches , Filterhüllen und Außenverpackungen mit dem erfindungsgemäß ausgeführt sein . Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verpackungsmaterial kann insbesondere ein sonst als Kunststof f- Folie vorliegendes Verpackungsmaterial ersetzen .
Die Gemeinsamkeit der beiden Varianten ist , dass al s Ausgangsbasis ein Basispapier verwendet wird, welches Faserersatzstof fe enthält , wobei das Basispapier mit einer funktionellen Beschichtung versehen wird . Als Faserersatzstof f ist eine Fasermaterial zu verstehen, welches nicht aus Hol z gewonnen wird, sondern aus anderen pflanzlichen Quellen . Bevorzugt handelt es sich beim Faserersatzstof f um Gras fasern oder Strohfasern, insbesondere Wei zenstrohfasern .
Auch andere Faserersatzstoffe wie Hanf-, Flachs-, Tabak-, und/oder Kokosfasern können als teilweiser Ersatz von Zellstoff in der Papiermasse dienen.
Das Basispapier weist bevorzugt einen Gewichtsbereich von 20-300 g/m2 vorzugsweise 30-60g/m2 auf.
Bevorzugt umfasst das Basispapier folgende Inhaltsstoffe im angegebenen Wertebereich:
Faserersatzstoffe: 1 bis 50 Gew.%
Zellulosefasern: 50 bis 99 Gew.%
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsvariante stammt der Faserersatzstoff von Weizen-Stroh und/oder Gras. Beide Stoffe sind in den meisten Fällen regional in ausreichender Menge verfügbar. Diese fallen als Neben- oder Abfallprodukt bei der Weizenproduktion und beim Grasschnitt an und können als Bestandteil des Basispapiers eine sinnvolle Verwendung finden. Speziell das Weizenstroh bewirkt in der Papiermasse eine natürliche Imprägnierung gegenüber Ölen und Wachsen. Eine solche Imprägnierung erfolgt herkömmlich durch Behandlung mit Fluor- Chemie, sodass die stattdessen vorliegende natürliche Imprägnierung durch den Faserersatzstoff, insbesondere das Weizenstroh, somit umweltfreundlich und nachhaltig ist.
Derartige Imprägnierungen sind eine gute Basis zur weiteren Behandlung mit biologisch abbaubaren funktionellen Beschichtungen, welche in Kombination eine verbesserte Barrierewirkung gegenüber Wasserdampf, Sauerstoff und Feuchtigkeit und/oder ÖL schaffen.
Bevorzugt umfasst das Basispapier folgende Inhaltsstoffe im angegebenen Wertebereich:
Weizen-Strohfasern und/oder Grasfasern: 5 bis 40 Gew.%
Zellulosefasern: 60 bis 95 Gew.%
Beschichtung
Das Basispapier weist aufgrund der Faserersatzstoffe bereits eine verbesserte Imprägnierung gegenüber ÖL und Wasser auf, welche erfindungsgemäß durch eine funktionelle Beschichtung
weiter verbessert wird. Bevorzugt wird durch die Beschichtung ein KIT-Wert von 5-12 erreicht.
Bevorzugt wird die funktionelle Beschichtung in einer Menge von 0,1- 20g/m2, vorzugsweise 3 - 10 g/m2, aufgebracht.
Bevorzugt enthält die funktionelle Beschichtung nur Inhaltsstoffe, welche aus nachwachsenden Quellen stammen bzw. einen natürlichen oder pflanzlichen Ursprung aufweisen.
In einer Ausführungsvariante umfasst die funktionelle Beschichtung eine Beschichtung mit Polymilchsäure (PLA) .
In einer Ausführungsvariante umfasst die funktionelle Beschichtung eine Beschichtung mit Polyvinylalkohol (PVA, PVOH) .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante pflanzliche Paraffine.
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante pflanzliche Farbstoffe.
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante Algen.
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante Nano-Cellulose .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante Nano-Graphite .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante Ethylcellulose .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante ein pflanzliches Harz, insbesondere Schellack .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante Meerschaum (Sepiolith) .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung umfasst in einer Ausführungsvariante ein Pflanzenprotein, insbesondere ein Algenprotein oder Pilzprotein.
Bevorzugt umfasst die funktionelle Beschichtung folgende Inhaltsstoffe im angegebenen Wertebereich:
Bindemittel: 50-60 Gew.%
Lösungsmittel und/oder Wasser: 40-50 Gew.%
Funktionsmaterial: 5 - 20 Gew.%
Bedruckung
Das mit der funktionellen Beschichtung versehene Basispapier kann in weiterer Folge bedruckt werden, wobei eine Bedruckung mit bekannten bzw. herkömmlichen Farben möglich ist.
In einer erfindungsgemäßen Variante erfolgt die Bedruckung bevorzugt mit pflanzlichen oder veganen Farben. Diese Farben weisen keinen Zusatz von Mikroplastik und erdölbasierten Kunststoffen oder Wachsen auf. Das Lösemittel dieser Farben ist bevorzugt Ethanol, insbesondere recycliertes Ethanol. Diese Farben beinhalten bevorzugt nur Inhaltsstoffe die aus nachwachsenden Quellen stammen bzw. einen natürlichen oder pflanzlichen Ursprung aufweisen.
Bevorzugt wird als Bedruckung Ethylcellulose oder Schellack verwendet. Die Bedruckung kann auch Ethylcellulose und Schellack enthalten .
Bevorzugt umfasst die Bedruckung folgende Inhaltsstoffe im angegebenen Wertebereich:
Talkum: 0,1- 5 Gew.%
Pigmente 0,1 - 50 Gew.%
Ethylcellulose und/oder Schellack: 5 - 50 Gew.%
Ethanol und/oder Wasser: 5-90 Gew.%
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsvariante umfasst das Basispapier Zellstoff im Bereich von 70-80 Gew.% und Gras und/oder Weizenstroh im Bereich von 20-30 Gew.%. Das Gras und/oder Weizenstroh ist bevorzugt mit Harzen und Bindern versehen. Das Basispapier liegt in einer Ausführungsvariante geleimt vor. Das Basispapier liegt in einer anderen Ausführungsvariante ungeleimt vor .
In einer Aus führungsvariante umfasst die funktionel le Beschichtung Nano-Cellulose , welche in ein Bindemittel- Lösungsmittel- bzw . Wassergemisch eingebettet ist , zur Schließung von Kapillaren .
Die funktionelle Beschichtung kann in mehreren Auftragslagen aufgebracht werden . In einer Aus führungsvariante erfolgen zwei Beschichtungen mit unterschiedlichen Lösungsmitteln, bevorzugt mit einem lösungsmittelbasierenden Lack gefolgt von einem wasserbasierenden Lacken oder umgekehrt .
In einer Aus führungsvariante umfasst die funktionel le Beschichtung Nano-Graphite oder Meerschaum . Diese können eine Schadstof f reduktion des Rauchs oder Dampf gemischs bewirken . Bevorzugt umfasst die Beschichtung pflanzliche Harze , BLA, PVOH Ethyl zellulose und/oder pflanzliche Paraf fine zum Aufbau von dichten Schichten und Barrieren gegenüber Ölen, Fetten, Wasserdampf und Sauerstof f sowie Aromen .
In einer Aus führungsvariante umfasst die optionale Bedruckung ein Bindemittel-Lösungsmittel-Gemisch oder ein Bindemittel- Wasser-Gemisch oder ein Bindemittel-Lösungsmittel-Wasser-Gemisch auf Basis von Pia, PVOH, Ethyl zellulose und/oder Schellack und ist mit einer Pigmentierung versehen . Die Pigmentierung umfasst bevorzugt Pigmente aus Pflanzenbestandteilen, insbesondere von Curcuma, Rote Beete , Spirulina, Karotte oder Algen .
Die Pigmente sind bevorzugt lebensmittelkonform . Es können verlackte oder nichtverlackende Varianten zum Einsatz kommen .
Der Festkörpergehalt der optionalen Bedruckung, insbesondere in Form einer Pflanzenfarbe , beträgt vorzugsweise zwischen 10-30 % , insbesondere zwischen 15 und 25 % .
Die Erfindung wird anhand von Zeichnungen veranschaulicht :

Figur 1 veranschaulicht in einer Schnittansicht ein Basispapier 1 , welches mit einer funktionalen Beschichtung 2 versehen ist . Die funktionale Beschichtung 2 kann wie veranschaul icht, die gesamte Fläche des Basispapier 1 bedecken . In einer nicht dargestellten Aus führungsvariante kann die funktionale Beschichtung 2 auch nur auf einem Teilbereich des Basispapier 1 aufgebracht sein . Unterschiedliche Teilbereich des Basispapier 1 können auch mit zueinander unterschiedlichen funktionale Beschichtungen 2 versehen werden . Die funktionale Beschichtung 2 bildet bevorzugt einen Film auf der Oberfläche des Basispapiers 1 . Figur 2 veranschaulicht in einer Schnittansicht die Verwendung eines Basispapiers 1 mit funktionaler Beschichtung 2 an einer Filterzigarette . Das Basispapiers 1 mit funktionaler Beschichtung 2 kann aber allgemein als Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial für Zigaretten, Heat-not-burn Artikel oder Tabakprodukte Verwendung finden . Im Fall einer Filterzigarette oder eines Heat-not-burn Artikels umgibt das Basispapiers 1 mit funktionaler Beschichtung 2 bevorzugt den Filter 3 der Filterzigarette oder eines Heat-not-burn Artikels , also insbesondere j enen Bereich, der durch die Lippen eines Benutzers berührt wird . Die Filterzigarette oder der Heat-not-burn Artikel weist zudem ein aerosolerzeugendes Segment 4 auf , welches von einem weiteren Hüllmaterial 5 umgeben sein kann . In einer nicht dargestellten Aus führungsvariante kann auch das zusätzliche Hüllmaterial 5 aus einem gegenständlichen Basispapiers 1 mit funktionaler Beschichtung 2 gebildet sein . Ein Heat-not-burn Artikel kann zusätzlich zum Filter 3 und dem aerosolerzeugendes Segment 4 weitere Segmente , wie ein Kühlsegment und ein hohles Segment umfassen, wobei eines oder mehrere der weiteren Segmente vom Basispapiers 1 mit funktionaler Beschichtung 2 oder vom Hüllmaterial 5 umhüllt sein kann . Die funktionale Beschichtung 2 liegt bevorzugt an der Außenseite der Filterzigarette oder des Heat-not-burn Artikels vor .
Das gegenständliche Basispapier 1 umfasst zumindest einen Faserersatzstof f in Form von Wei zen-Strohfasern und/oder Gras fasern aus Grasschnitt in einem Anteil von 5 bi s 40 Gew . % , wobei das Basispapier 1 zudem Zellulosefasern in einem Anteil von 60 bis 95 Gew . % enthält . Die gegenständliche funktionelle Beschichtung liegt in einer Menge von 0 , 1 bis 20 g/m2 vor .
Figur 3 veranschaulicht in einer Schnittansicht ein Basispapier 1 , welches mit einer funktionalen Beschichtung 2 und mit einer Bedruckung 6 versehen ist . Das Basispapier 1 und die funktionale Beschichtung 2 liegen in einer Aus führungsvariante wie zu Figur 1 beschrieben vor . Die Bedruckung 6 kann wie veranschaulicht , die gesamte Fläche der funktionale Beschichtung 2 am Basispapier 1 bedecken . In einer nicht dargestellten Aus führungsvariante kann die Bedruckung 6 auch nur auf einem Teilbereich des Basispapier 1 oder auf einen Teilbereich der funktionale Beschichtung 2 aufgebracht sein . Unterschiedliche Teilbereich des Basispapier 1 können auch mit zueinander unterschiedlichen Bedruckung 6 versehen werden . Die Bedruckung 6 kann flächig erfolgen oder in Form von Linien, Zeichen oder Mustern .
Claims
1. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial für Zigaretten, Heat-not-burn Artikel oder Tabakprodukte umfassend ein Basispapier (1) und eine funktionelle Beschichtung (2) des Basispapiers (1) , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basispapier (1) zumindest einen Faserersatzstoff umfasst und die funktionelle Beschichtung (2) in einer Menge von 0,1 bis 20 g/m2 vorliegt, wobei das Basispapier (1) Weizen-Strohfasern und/oder Grasfasern aus Grasschnitt in einem Anteil von 5 bis 40 Gew.% enthält und Zellulosefasern in einem Anteil von 60 bis 95 Gew . % .
2. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basispapier (1) Strohfasern enthält.
3. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basispapier (1) Grasfasern enthält.
4. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basispapier (1) Strohfasern und Grasfasern enthält.
5. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis
4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die funktionelle Beschichtung (2) nur Inhaltsstoffe aus nachwachsenden Quellen enthält.
6. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis
5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die funktionelle Beschichtung (2) in einer Menge von 3 bis 10 g/m2 vorliegt.
7. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis
6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über der funktionellen Beschichtung (2) eine Bedruckung (6) vorliegt.
Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bedruckung (6) nur Inhaltsstoffe aus nachwachsenden Quellen enthält. Hüll- oder Verpackungsmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bedruckung (6) in einer Menge von 0,1 bis 10 g/m2, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis 5 g/m2, vorliegt .
