Abstract
Description
しかも最近では、包装材料の環境への影響の配慮(リサイクルのしやすさ)から、材料が単一樹脂より構成されるモノマテリアル包材の実現が期待されている。そこで、二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムを基材フィルムとし、無延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムをシーラントフィルムとして使用したポリプロピレン単体包材の実現が期待されている。
しかしながら、特許文献1及び特許文献2に記載のフィルムではヒートシール後にシール部にシワが生じやすく、二軸配向PETフィルムのすべての用途を代替することは困難だった。
すなわち本発明に係る二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムは以下の構成よりなる。

少なくとも基材層A及び表面層Bを含む、二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムであって、下記1)~7)の要件を満たす二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
1)フィルム全体の厚みに対する基材層Aの厚みの割合が70%以上、98%以下である。
2)基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が97.0以上、99.9%以下である。
3)表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が80.0以上、96.5%以下である。
4)フィルムの長手方向のF5が35MPa以上である。
5)フィルムの幅方向のF5が95MPa以上である。
6)フィルムの長手方向の150℃熱収縮率が6.0%以下である。
7)フィルムの幅方向の150℃熱収縮率が5.0%以下である。
前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層B側から測定した面配向係数が0.0134以下である[1]に記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層Bのフィルム表面の濡れ張力が38mN/m以上である[1]又は[2]に記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムのヘイズが5.0%以下である[1]~[3]のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム全体の厚みが5μm以上、60μm以下である[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
[1]~[5]のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムと無延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとを含む積層体。

前記積層体の90°(T字)剥離した際の剥離強度で表されるラミネート強度が、前記積層体の長手方向及び幅方向ともに1.9N/15mm以上、10N/15mm以下である[6]に記載の積層体。
本発明に係る二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムは、少なくとも基材層A及び表面層Bを含む、二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムである。基材層A及び表面層Bはポリプロピレン樹脂組成物からなり、ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物はポリプロピレン樹脂を主成分とするものである。なお、「主成分」とは、ポリプロピレン樹脂がポリプロピレン樹脂組成物中に占める割合が90質量%以上であることを意味し、より好ましくは93質量%以上、さらに好ましくは95質量%以上、特に好ましくは97質量%以上である。
以下、基材層A及び表面層Bについて説明する。
(基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂の立体規則性)
本発明における基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂の立体規則性の指標であるメソペンタッド分率([mmmm]%)は、97.0%以上、99.9%以下であり、97.5%以上、99.7%以下であると好ましく、98.0%以上、99.5%以下であるとより好ましく、98.5%以上、99.3%以下であるとさらに好ましい。基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物のメソペンタッド分率についても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。
本発明における基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が97.0%以上であると、ポリプロピレン樹脂の結晶性が高まり、フィルムにおける結晶の融点、結晶化度、結晶配向度が向上し、剛性と高温での耐熱性が得られやすい。99.9%以下であるとフィルムの製造において破断が少なくなる点や、ポリプロピレン樹脂の製造コストを抑えやすくなる点で好ましい。メソペンタッド分率は核磁気共鳴法(所謂NMR法)で測定される。
ポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率を上述の範囲内とするためには、得られたポリプロピレン樹脂パウダーをn-ヘプタンなどの溶媒で洗浄する方法や、触媒および/または助触媒の選定、ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物の成分の選定を適宜行う方法などが好ましく採用される。
本発明における基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂は、ポリプロピレン単独重合体や、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンとの共重合体を用いることができる。実質的にエチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンを含まないプロピレン単独重合体が好ましく、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分を含む場合であっても、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分量は1モル%以下であるのが好ましい。成分量の上限は、より好ましくは0.5モル%であり、さらに好ましくは0.3モル%であり、特に好ましくは0.1モル%であり、最も好ましくは0%である。上記範囲であると剛性と耐熱性が向上しやすい。このような共重合体を構成する炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分として、例えば、1-ブテン、1-ペンテン、3-メチルペンテンー1、3-メチルブテンー1、1-ヘキセン、4-メチルペンテンー1、5-エチルヘキセンー1、1-オクテン、1-デセン、1-ドデセン、1-テトラデセン、1-ヘキサデセン、1-ヘプタデセン、1-オクタデセン、1-エイコセンなどが挙げられる。ポリプロピレン樹脂は異なる2種以上のポリプロピレン単独重合体や、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンとの共重合体、及びこれらの混合物を用いることができる。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のDSCで測定される融解温度(Tm)(以下、TmAと略記する)の下限は好ましくは160℃であり、より好ましくは161℃であり、さらに好ましくは162℃であり、よりさらに好ましくは163℃である。TmAが160℃以上であると剛性と高温での耐熱性が得られやすい。
TmAの上限は、好ましくは180℃であり、より好ましくは178℃である。TmAが180℃以下であると、ポリプロピレン樹脂の製造の点でコストアップを抑制しやすい。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物のTmAについても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。
Tmとは、約5mgのサンプルをアルミパンに詰めて示差走査熱量計(DSC)にセットし、窒素雰囲気下で、走査速度10℃/分で230℃に昇温し230℃で5分間融解し、走査速度-10℃/分で30℃まで降温した後、5分間保持し、走査速度10℃/分で昇温した際に観察される、融解にともなう吸熱ピークの主たるピーク温度である。複数のピークが観察される場合、低温側のピーク温度をTmとする。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のDSCで測定される結晶化温度(Tc:以下、Tcと略記する場合がある)の下限は105℃であり、好ましくは108℃であり、より好ましくは110℃であり、さらに好ましくは114℃である。Tcが105℃以上であると、結晶化が進みやすく、剛性と高温での耐熱性が得られやすい。
Tcの上限は、好ましくは135℃であり、より好ましくは133℃であり、さらに好ましくは132℃であり、よりさらに好ましくは130℃であり、特に好ましくは128℃であり、最も好ましくは127℃である。Tcが135℃以下であるとポリプロピレン製造の点でコストアップを抑制でき、製膜時の破断も抑制しやすい。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物の結晶化温度についても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。
Tcとは、約5mgのサンプルをアルミパンに詰めてDSCにセットし、窒素雰囲気下で、走査速度10℃/分で230℃に昇温し230℃で5分間融解し、走査速度-10℃/分で30℃まで降温したときに観察される発熱ピークの主たるピーク温度である。複数のピークが観察される場合、低温側のピーク温度をTcとする。
前述のポリプロピレン樹脂に結晶核剤を配合することによって、結晶化温度をより上げることもできる。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のメルトフローレート(MFR:以下、MFRと略記する場合がある)は、JISK7210(1995)の条件M(230℃、2.16kgf)に準拠して測定した場合において、6.0g/10分以上、10g/10分以下であることが好ましく、6.2g/10分以上、9.0g/10分以下であるとより好ましく、6.3g/10分以上、8.5g/10分以下であるとさらに好ましく、6.4g/10分以上、8.0g/10分以下であると特に好ましく、6.5g/10分以上、7.5g/10分以下であると最も好ましい。
また、基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、混合物のMFRは6.0g/10分以上、10g/10分以下であることが好ましく、6.2g/10分以上、9.0g/10分以下であるとより好ましく、6.3g/10分以上、8.5g/10分以下であるとさらに好ましく、6.4g/10分以上、8.0g/10分以下であると特に好ましく、6.5g/10分以上、7.5g/10分以下であると最も好ましい。
ポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRが6.0g/10分以上であると、熱収縮が低い二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムを得られやすい。また、ポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRが10g/10分以下であると、製膜性を良くしやすい。
基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、各々のポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRは2.5g/10分以上、30g/10分以下であることが好ましく、3.5g/10分以上、25g/10分以下であるとより好ましく、4.5g/10分以上、22g/10分以下であるとさらに好ましく、5.5g/10分以上、20g/10分以下であると特に好ましく、6.0g/10分以上、20g/10分以下であると最も好ましい。
ポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRを上記の範囲内とするためには、ポリプロピレン樹脂の平均分子量や分子量分布を制御する方法などが好ましく採用される。
基材層Aを構成するプロピレン樹脂組成物には、ジエタノールアミン脂肪酸エステル化合物、アミン化合物、グリセリンモノ脂肪酸エステル化合物等の帯電防止剤を含有させることができる。これらを特定割合で併用することにより、初期の帯電防止性が充分であると共に、優れた帯電防止性が長期にわたり持続し、しかも高温に晒されても初期の透明性の低下が殆どなく、べた付きのない二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムが得られる。
基材層Aに含有された帯電防止剤はブリードによって表面層Bのフィルム表面に移動し、存在することができる。
また、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲であれば、基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂組成物には帯電防止剤の他にも品質向上のための各種添加剤、例えば、生産性の向上のために微細粒子などのアンチブロッキング剤、ワックス、金属石鹸などの潤滑剤、可塑剤、加工助剤やポリプロピレン系フィルムに通常添加される公知の熱安定剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤などを配合することも可能である。
また、有機質の微細粒子としては、アクリル系樹脂、アクリル酸メチル系樹脂、スチレン-ブタジエン系樹脂などを架橋した架橋体粒子を使用することができ、形状、大きさに関しては無機質微細粒子と同様にさまざまなものを使用することが可能である。また、これら無機質あるいは有機質の微細粒子表面に各種の表面処理を施すことも可能であり、また、これらは単独で使用し得るほか、2種以上を併用することも可能である。
(表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂の立体規則性)
表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂の立体規則性の指標であるメソペンタッド分率([mmmm]%)は、80.0%以上、96.5%以下であり、85.0%以上、96.5%以下であることが好ましく、90.0%以上、96.5%以下であることがより好ましい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物の立体規則性についても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、各々のポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率は80.0%以上、98.0%以下であることが好ましい。
表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が96.5%以下であると、シーラントフィルムを積層した積層体のラミネート強度を高くしやすい。また、表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が80.0%以上であると、フィルムの剛性と耐熱性が得られやすい。メソペンタッド分率は核磁気共鳴法(所謂NMR法)で測定される。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂は、ポリプロピレン単独重合体や、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンとの共重合体を用いることができる。実質的にエチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンを含まないプロピレン単独重合体が好ましく、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分を含む場合であっても、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分量の上限は、1モル%以下であるのが好ましく、より好ましくは0.5モル%であり、さらに好ましくは0.3モル%であり、特に好ましくは0.1モル%であり、最も好ましくは0%である。
上記範囲であると剛性と耐熱性が向上しやすい。このような共重合体を構成する炭素数4以上のα-オレフィン成分として、例えば、1-ブテン、1-ペンテン、3-メチルペンテンー1、3-メチルブテンー1、1-ヘキセン、4-メチルペンテンー1、5-エチルヘキセンー1、1-オクテン、1-デセン、1-ドデセン、1-テトラデセン、1-ヘキサデセン、1-ヘプタデセン、1-オクタデセン、1-エイコセンなどが挙げられる。ポリプロピレン樹脂は異なる2種以上のポリプロピレン単独重合体や、エチレンおよび/または炭素数4以上のα-オレフィンとの共重合体、及びこれらの混合物を用いることができる。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のDSCで測定される融解温度(Tm)(以下、TmBと略記する)の下限は好ましくは152℃であり、より好ましくは154℃であり、さらに好ましくは156℃であり、よりさらに好ましくは158℃である。TmBが154℃以上であると剛性と高温での耐熱性が得られやすい。
TmBの上限は、好ましくは170℃であり、より好ましくは169℃であり、さらに好ましくは168℃であり、よりさらに好ましくは167℃であり、特に好ましくは166℃である。TmBが170℃以下であると、ポリプロピレン樹脂の製造の点でコストアップを抑制でき、製膜時の破断も抑制しやすい。また、ラミネート強度も大きくなりやすい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物のTmBについても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。

Tcの上限は、好ましくは115℃であり、より好ましくは113℃である。Tcが115℃以下であると表面層Bの結晶配向化が抑制されてラミネート強度が大きくなりやすい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、その混合物のTcについても上記と同様の範囲であることが好ましい。

また、表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、ポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物のMFRは2.8g/10分以上、5.0g/10分以下であることが好ましく、3.0g/10分以上、5.0g/10分以下であるとより好ましく、3.0g/10分以上、5.0g/10分であるとさらに好ましく、3.0g/10分以上、4.0g/10分以下であるとよりさらに好ましい。
ポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRが2.8g/10分以上であると、熱収縮が低い二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムを得られやすい。また、ポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRが5.0g/10分以下であると、製膜性が良くなりやすく、かつフィルム製膜時に欠点が発生しにくい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂が複数のポリプロピレン樹脂の混合物の場合、各々のポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRは2.0g/10分以上、5.0g/10分以下であることが好ましく、2.2g/10分以上、5.0g/10分以下であるとより好ましく、2.3g/10分以上、4.5g/10分以下であるとさらに好ましい。
表面層Bに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRは、積層フィルムの厚みの均一性の観点からは、基材層Aに用いられるポリプロピレン樹脂のMFRに近い方が好ましい。
本発明の効果を損なわない範囲であれば、表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂組成物には滑り性や帯電防止性などの品質向上のための各種添加剤、例えば、生産性の向上のために微細粒子などのアンチブロッキング剤、ワックス、金属石鹸などの潤滑剤、可塑剤、加工助剤やポリプロピレン系フィルムに通常添加される公知の熱安定剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、無機質や有機質の微細粒子などを配合することも可能である。
また、有機質の微細粒子としては、アクリル、アクリル酸メチル、スチレン-ブタジエンなどの架橋体粒子を使用することができ、形状、大きさに関しては無機質微細粒子と同様にさまざまなものを使用することが可能である。また、これら無機質あるいは有機質の微細粒子表面に各種の表面処理を施すことも可能であり、また、これらは単独で使用し得るほか、2種以上を併用することも可能である。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムには、多価アルコールの脂肪酸エステル類、高級脂肪酸のアミン類、高級脂肪酸のアマイド類、高級脂肪酸のアミンやアマイドのエチレンオキサイド付加物などの防曇剤をフィルム中での存在量を0.2~5質量%の範囲に添加することで、野菜、果実、草花などの鮮度保持が要求される青果物などの包装に適したものとすることができる。防曇剤は基材層A及び表面層Bのいずれにも添加することができる。基材層Aに含有された防曇剤はブリードによって表面層Bのフィルム表面に移動し、防曇性を発現することができる。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの全層厚みは、その用途や使用方法によって異なるが、フィルム強度、省資源の観点から、下限は5μmが好ましく、6μmがより好ましく、8μmがさらに好ましく、10μmが特に好ましい。上限は、60μmが好ましく、40μmがより好ましく、35μmがさらに好ましく、25μmが特に好ましく、19μmが最も好ましい。フィルムの全層厚みがこの範囲であれば、強度を確保しつつ、より薄いフィルム厚みにすることで省資源に寄与することができる。フィルムの全層厚みは用途によって60μmより大きい方が好ましい場合もあり、フィルムの全層厚みが200μmまでであれば一般的に使用できる。
表面層Bの厚みの上限は、その用途や使用方法によって異なるが、フィルムの剛性や高温での耐熱性の点で4μmが好ましく、2μmがより好ましい。また、表面層Bの厚みが大きいと面配向係数を小さくしやすい。
フィルム全体の厚みに対する基材層Aの厚みの割合の上限は、前記表面層Bの機能を保持するために98%以下が好ましく、95%以下がより好ましく、92%以下がさらに好ましい。
フィルム全体の厚みに対する基材層Bの厚みの割合の上限は、剛性と高温での耐熱性の観点から30%以下が好ましく、23%がより好ましく、20%以下がさらに好ましく、15%以下が特に好ましい。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリオレフィンフィルムの層構成は、表面層B/基材層A、表面層B/基材層A/表面層Bが挙げられる。基材層Aと表面層Bは直接接しているのが好ましいが、基材層Aと表面層Bの間には中間層を設けても良く、中間層の原料組成は、基材層Aと表面層Bの層間で剥離が起きにくくするため、基材層と表面層の中間になるような原料組成にすることが好ましい。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムは、上述したポリプロピレン樹脂を主成分とするポリプロピレン樹脂組成物からなる未延伸シートを作製し、二軸延伸することによって得られる。二軸延伸の方法としては、インフレーション同時二軸延伸法、テンター同時二軸延伸法、テンター逐次二軸延伸法のいずれを採用してもよいが、製膜安定性、厚み均一性の観点でテンター逐次二軸延伸法を採用することが好ましい。特に長手方向に延伸後、幅方向に延伸することが好ましいが、幅方向に延伸後、長手方向に延伸する方法でもよい。
以下には、表面層B/基材層A/表面層Bの例について、テンター逐次二軸延伸法を採用した場合について述べる。
まず、表面層B/基材層A/表面層Bの構成からなる溶融ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物多層シートをTダイから押出す。
その方法として、例えば、二台以上の押出機を用いて異なる流路から送り出されたポリプロピレン樹脂を多層フィードブロックやスタティックミキサー、多層マルチマニホールドダイ等を用いて多層に積層しながら、共押出しする方法等を使用することができる。
また、一台の押出機のみを用いて、押出機からT型ダイまでのメルトラインに上述の多層化装置を導入することも可能である。
また、背圧の安定化および厚み変動の抑制の観点からポリマー流路にギヤポンプを設置する方法が好ましい。
Tダイからシート状に共押出した溶融シートは、金属製冷却ロール上に接地させて冷却固化する。固化を促進する目的で、冷却ロールで冷却したシートを水槽に浸漬するなどして、さらに冷却することが好ましい。
引き続き、一軸延伸フィルムを予熱後、テンター式延伸機でフィルム端部を把持しながら、特定の温度で幅方向に延伸を行い、二軸延伸フィルムを得る。
幅方向延伸工程が終了後、二軸延伸フィルムを特定の温度で熱処理を行う。熱処理工程においては、幅方向にフィルムを弛緩してもよい。
こうして得られた二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムに、必要に応じて、例えば少なくとも片面にコロナ放電処理を施した後、ワインダーで巻取ることによりフィルムロールを得ることができる。
(押出し工程)
まず、ポリプロピレン樹脂を主成分とするポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を単軸または二軸の押出機で200℃以上、300℃以下に範囲で加熱溶融させ、Tダイから出たシート状の溶融ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を金属製の冷却ロールに接触させて冷却固化させる。得られた未延伸シートはさらに水槽に投入するのが好ましい。
冷却ロール、又は冷却ロールと水槽の温度は、結晶化を抑制できる温度であることが好ましく、フィルムの透明性を上げたい場合は、50℃以下の冷却ロールで冷却固化するのが好ましい。冷却温度を50℃以下にすると未延伸シートの透明性が高まりやすく、好ましくは40℃以下である。逐次二軸延伸後の結晶配向度を増大させるには冷却温度を30℃以上とするのも好ましい。
未延伸シートの厚みは3500μm以下とするのが、冷却効率の上で好ましく、3000μm以下とするのがさらに好ましく、逐次二軸延伸後のフィルム厚みに応じて、適宜調整できる。未延伸シートの厚みはポリプロピレン樹脂組成物の押出し速度及びTダイのリップ幅等で制御できる。
長手方向延伸倍率の下限は好ましくは3倍であり、より好ましくは3.5倍であり、特に好ましくは3.8倍である。上記範囲であると強度を高めやすく、厚みムラも少なくなる。
長手方向延伸倍率の上限は好ましくは4.3倍であり、より好ましくは4.2倍であり、特に好ましくは4.1倍である。上記範囲であると、幅方向延伸工程での延伸性が良好で、生産性が向上する。
従来、耐熱性(熱収縮性)と剛性のどちらかが向上すれば、他方の特性が低下する傾向となるが、本発明ではこれらの両立が可能である。
なお、長手方向延伸は3対以上の延伸ロールを使用して、2段階以上の多段階に分けて延伸してもよい。
幅方向延伸工程の前に、長手方向延伸後の一軸延伸フィルムをTmA+5℃以上、TmA+20℃以下の範囲で加熱して、ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を軟化させる必要がある。以上とすることにより、一軸延伸フィルムの軟化が進み、幅方向の延伸が容易になる。TmA+20℃以下とすることで、幅方向延伸時の配向が進み、剛性が発現しやすくなる。より好ましくはTmA+8℃以上、TmA+15℃以下である。ここで、予熱工程での最高温度を予熱温度とする。
幅方向延伸工程においては、TmA-8℃以上、予熱温度以下の温度で延伸するのが好ましい。このとき、幅方向延伸の開始時は予熱温度に達した時点でも良いし、予熱温度に達した後に温度を降下させ予熱温度よりも低い温度に達した時点でもよい。
幅方向延伸工程における温度の下限は、より好ましくはTmA-5℃である。幅方向延伸温度がこの範囲であると、得られる二軸配向フィルムの熱収縮率を低減させやすい。
幅方向延伸工程における温度の上限は、好ましくはTmA+10℃であり、さらに好ましくはTmA+7℃であり、特に好ましくはTmA+5℃である。幅方向延伸温度がこの範囲であると、延伸ムラが生じにくい。
二軸延伸したフィルムは熱処理を行う。熱処理温度の下限は好ましくはTmA+8℃であり、特に好ましくはTmA+10℃である。TmA+5℃以上であると非晶部の配向を緩和させやすく、熱収縮率を小さくしやすいとともにラミネート強度を高めやすい。
熱処理温度の上限は好ましくはTmA+20℃であり、より好ましくはTmA+15℃であり、特に好ましくはTmA+12℃である。TmA+20℃以下にすることで、二軸延伸工程で生成した配向の高い結晶は融解しにくく、得られたフィルムの剛性を向上させやすい。
また、フィルム表面の粗さが大きくなりすぎず、フィルムが白化しにくい。
また、熱収縮率をさらに小さくするために、熱処理時に幅方向にフィルムを弛緩(緩和)させることができる。弛緩率の上限は15%であり、より好ましくは10%であり、さらに好ましくは8%である。上記を超えると、厚みムラが大きくなることがある。弛緩率の下限は好ましくは0%であり、より好ましくは2%であり、幅方向の弛緩は行った方が熱収縮率を小さくしやすい。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムは、下記特性に特徴がある。
なお、本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムにおける「長手方向」とは、フィルム製造工程における流れ方向に対応する方向であり、「幅方向」とは、前記のフィルム製造工程における流れ方向と直交する方向である。以下、「長手方向」を「MD方向」、「幅方向」を「TD方向」と略記する場合がある。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの長手方向の5%伸長時の応力(F5、以下、5%伸長時の応力をF5と略記する)の下限は35MPaであり、好ましくは36MPaであり、より好ましくは38MPaであり、さらに好ましくは40MPaであり、よりさらに好ましくは42MPaである。35MPa以上では、剛性が高いため包装袋としたときの袋形状を保持しやすく、印刷など加工時にフィルムの変形が起こりにくいため印刷インキを転写する際の印刷ピッチずれが生じにくくなる。
フィルムの長手方向のF5の上限は、好ましくは70MPaであり、より好ましくは65MPaであり、さらに好ましくは62MPaであり、特に好ましくは61MPaであり、最も好ましくは60MPaである。70MPa以下では現実的な製造が容易である。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの幅方向のF5の下限は、95MPaであり、好ましくは100MPaであり、より好ましくは105MPaであり、さらに好ましくは110MPaである。95MPa以上では、剛性が高いため包装袋としたときの袋形状を保持しやすく、印刷など加工時にフィルムの変形が起こりにくいため印刷インキを転写する際の印刷ピッチずれが生じにくくなる。
幅方向のF5の上限は、好ましくは200MPaであり、より好ましくは190MPaであり、さらに好ましくは180MPaである。200MPa以下だと、現実的な製造が容易である。また、フィルムの長手方向と幅方向の物性のバランスが良化しやすい。
F5は延伸倍率や弛緩率、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの150℃での長手方向の熱収縮率の上限は6.0%であり、好ましくは5.0%であり、より好ましくは4.8%であり、特に好ましくは4.6%以下である。
150℃での幅方向の熱収縮率の上限は5.0%であり、好ましくは4.5%であり、より好ましくは4.0%であり、さらに好ましくは3.5%であり、よりさらに好ましくは3.0%であり、特に好ましくは2.7であり、最も好ましくは2.1%であり、特に最も好ましくは1.7%である。
150℃での熱収縮率が長手方向で6.0%以下、かつ、幅方向で5.0%以下であると、ヒートシール時にシール部のシワが生じにくい。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの長手方向のヤング率の下限は好ましくは1.6GPaであり、より好ましくは1.7GPaであり、さらに好ましくは1.8GPaであり、特に好ましくは1.9GPaであり、最も好ましくは2.0GPaである。1.6GPa以上では、剛性が高いため包装袋としたときの袋形状を保持しやすく、印刷など加工時にフィルムの変形が起こりにくいため印刷インキを転写する際の印刷ピッチずれが生じにくくなる。
フィルムの長手方向のヤング率の上限は、好ましくは3.0GPaであり、より好ましくは2.9GPaであり、さらに好ましくは2.8GPaであり、特に好ましくは2.7GPaであり、最も好ましくは2.6GPaである。3.0GPa以下では現実的な製造が容易である。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの幅方向のヤング率の下限は好ましくは3.5GPaであり、より好ましくは3.6GPaであり、さらに好ましくは3.7GPaであり、特に好ましくは3.8GPaである。3.6GPa以上では、剛性が高いため包装袋としたときの袋形状を保持しやすく、印刷など加工時にフィルムの変形が起こりにくいため印刷インキを転写する際の印刷ピッチずれが生じにくくなる。
幅方向のヤング率の上限は、好ましくは5.0GPaであり、より好ましくは4.9GPaであり、さらに好ましくは4.8GPaであり、よりさらに好ましくは4.5MPa以下である。5.0GPa以下だと、現実的な製造が容易である。また、フィルムの長手方向と幅方向の物性のバランスが良化しやすい。
ヤング率は延伸倍率や弛緩率、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの長手方向の引張破断強度の下限は、好ましくは90MPaであり、より好ましくは95MPaであり、さらに好ましくは100MPaであり、よりさらに好ましくは110MPaである。90MPa以上だと包装袋の耐久性に優れやすい。長手方向の引張破断強度は高いほど耐久性などの点で好ましいが、製造上の現実的な値として、上限は300MPaである。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの幅方向の引張破断強度の下限は、好ましくは240MPaであり、より好ましくは260MPaであり、さらに好ましくは280MPaであり、よりさらに好ましくは300MPaであり、特に好ましくは340MPaである。240MPa以上だと包装袋の耐久性に優れやすい。幅方向の引張破断強度は高いほど耐久性などの点で好ましいが、製造上の現実的な値として、上限は500MPaである。
引張破断強度は延伸倍率や弛緩率、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの長手方向の引張破断伸度の下限は、好ましくは200%であり、より好ましくは220%であり、さらに好ましくは240%であり、よりさらに好ましくは250%以上であり、特に好ましくは280%以上であり、最も好ましくは300%以上である。200%以上であるとフィルムの破断や包装袋の破袋が少なくなりやすい。長手方向の引張破断伸度の上限は、現実的な値として好ましくは350%であり、より好ましくは340%である。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの幅方向の引張破断伸度の下限は、好ましくは25%であり、より好ましくは30%であり、さらに好ましくは35%であり、よりさらに好ましくは40%であり、特に好ましくは50%である。25%以上だと、フィルムの破断や包装袋の破袋が少なくなりやすい。幅方向の引張破断伸度の上限は、現実的な値として好ましくは70%であり、より好ましくは65%であり、さらに好ましくは60%である。
引張破断伸度は延伸倍率や弛緩率、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムのヘイズの上限は好ましくは5.0%であり、より好ましくは4.5%であり、さらに好ましくは4.0%であり、特に好ましくは3.5%であり、最も好ましくは3.0%である。5.0%以下であると透明性が要求される用途で使いやすい。ヘイズの下限は、現実的な値として、好ましくは0.1%であり、より好ましくは0.2%であり、さらに好ましくは0.3%であり、特に好ましくは0.4%である。0.1%以上であると製造しやすい。
ヘイズは、冷却ロール(CR)温度等、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層Bのフィルム表面の濡れ張力が38mN/m以上であることが好ましく、39mN/m以上がより好ましく、40mN/m以上がさらに好ましい。濡れ張力は38mN/m以上であると、印刷インキや他部材フィルムとのラミネートに使用する接着剤との密着性が向上する。
濡れ張力を38mN/m以上とするには、コロナ処理、火炎処理などの物理化学的な表面処理を行うことが好ましい。例えば、コロナ処理では、フィルムを予熱ロール、処理ロールを用いて加熱し、空中で放電を行うことが好ましい。濡れ張力はコロナ処理の強さの程度と関係するが、濡れ張力は帯電防止剤のブリードアウト量とも関係するため、それぞれを好適な範囲にするのが効果的である。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層B側から測定した面配向係数(ΔP)の下限は、好ましくは0.0122であり、より好ましくは0.0124であり、さらに好ましくは0.0126である。0.0122以上だとフィルムの厚みムラが良くなりやすい。面配向係数(ΔP)の上限は、好ましくは0.0134であり、より好ましくは0.0132である。0.0134以下だと高温での耐熱性に優れやすく、ラミネート強度が大きくなりやすい。面配向係数(ΔP)は延伸倍率や弛緩率、製膜時の温度条件を調整することで範囲内とすることが出来る。また、面配向係数(ΔP)は、(式)[(Nx+Ny)/2]-Nzを用いて計算した。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの有する実用特性について説明する。
(フィルム加工)
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの印刷は用途に応じて、凸版印刷・平版印刷・凹版印刷、孔版印刷、転写印刷方式により行うことができる。
また、低密度ポリエチレン、線状低密度ポリエチレン、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステルからなる未延伸シート、一軸配向フィルム、二軸配向フィルムをシーラントフィルムとして貼り合わせて、ヒートシール性を付与したラミネート体としても使用することができる。さらにガスバリア性や耐熱性を高めたいときはアルミ箔やポリ塩化ビニリデン、ナイロン、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体、ポリビニルアルコールからなる未延伸シート、一軸延伸フィルム、二軸延伸フィルムを二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムとシーラントフィルムの間に中間層として設けることができる。シーラントフィルムの貼り合わせには、ドライラミネーション法、または、ホットメルトラミネーション法により塗布した接着剤を使用することができる。
ガスバリア性を高めるには、二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムや中間層フィルム、あるいはシーラントフィルムにアルミや無機酸化物を蒸着加工することもできる。蒸着方法には真空蒸着、スパッタリング、イオンプレーティング法を採用できるが、特にシリカ、アルミナ、または、これらの混合物を真空蒸着するのが好ましい。
本発明の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムとシーラントフィルムの積層体の長手方向および幅方向のラミネート強度の下限は、好ましくは1.9N/15mmであり、より好ましくは2.1N/15mmあり、さらに好ましくは2.3N/15mmであり、よりさらに好ましくは2.4N/15mmであり、特に好ましくは2.5N/15mmであり、最も好ましくは2.6N/15mmであり、特に最も好ましくは2.8N/15mm以上である。1.9N/15mm以上であると包装袋の破袋が少なくなりやすい。長手方向のラミネート強度の上限は、現実的な値として好ましくは4.0N/15mmであり、より好ましくは3.5N/15mmである。
なお、ここでのラミネート強度は、実施例に記載の二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルム(基材フィルム)に、接着剤を介して、無延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム(シーラント層)を貼り合わせたラミネートフィルム(積層体)について、基材フィルムとシーラント層間でT字剥離した時の剥離強度である。
食品を包装する袋を形成するには、製袋済みの袋に内容物を充填し、フィルムを加熱、溶融させ、フィルム同士を融着して密封する方法や、食品を充填しながら製袋、密封する方法がある。通常は、基材フィルムにポリエチレンやポリプロピレンなどからなるシーラントフィルムを積層し、このシーラントフィルム面同士を融着させる。加熱方法は基材フィルム側から加熱板で圧力をかけフィルムを押さえてシールするが、シール幅は10mm程度とする場合が多い。このとき基材フィルムも加熱されるため、その際の収縮がシワを発生させる。袋の耐久性においてシワは少ない方が良く、購買意欲を高めるためにもシワは少ない方が良い。シール温度は120℃程度である場合もあるが、製袋加工速度を高めるためにはより高温でのシール温度が求められ、その場合でも収縮が小さいことが好ましい。袋の開ロ部にチャックを融着する場合には、さらに高温でのシールが求められる。
包装フィルムの構成としては、基本的な構成として、印刷が施された基材フィルムとシーラントフィルムの積層フィルムからなる場合が多い。印刷ピッチズレは、印刷工程時にフィルムにテンションや熱を掛けるため、フィルムの基材が伸び縮みするため発生すると考えられる。印刷ピッチズレによる不良品をなくすことは資源の有効活用の点でも重要であり、購買意欲を高めるためにも重要である。
(1)メルトフローレート
メルトフローレート(MFR)は、JISK7210に準拠し、温度230℃、荷重2.16kgfで測定した。
ポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率([mmmm]%)の測定は、13C-NMRを用いて行った。メソペンタッド分率は、Zambelliら、Macromolecules、第6巻、925頁(1973)に記載の方法に従って算出した。13C-NMR測定は、BRUKER社製AVANCE500を用い、試料200mgをo-ジクロロベンゼンと重ベンゼンの8:2の混合液に135℃で溶解し、110℃で行った。
パーキンエルマー社製DSC8500示差走査熱量計を用いて、窒素雰囲気下で熱測定を行った。ポリプロピレン樹脂のペレットから約5mgを切り出して測定用のアルミパンに封入した。230℃まで昇温し5分間保持した後、-10℃/分の速度で30℃まで冷却し、発熱ピーク温度を結晶化温度(Tc)とした。そのまま、30℃で5分間保持し、10℃/分で230℃まで昇温し、主たる吸熱ピーク温度を融解温度(Tm)とした。
セイコー・イーエム社製ミリトロン1202Dを用いて、フィルムの厚みを計測した。
基材層Aと表面層Bの厚みは、上記方法で測定した積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの合計厚みから、基材層Aの吐出量と表面層Bの吐出量の比をもとに算出した。
日本電色工業株式会社製NDH5000を用い、23℃にて、JISK7105に従って測定した。
JISK7127に準拠してフィルムの長手方向および幅方向の引張強度を23℃にて測定した。サンプルは15mm×200mmのサイズに切り出し、チャック幅は100mmで、引張試験機(インストロンジャパンカンパニイリミテッド社製デュアルコラム卓上型試験機インストロン5965)にセットした。引張速度200mm/分にて引張試験を行った。得られた歪み-応力カーブより、5%伸長時の応力をF5とした。
また、伸長初期の直線部分の傾きからヤング率を求めた。引張破断強度、引張破断伸度は、それぞれ、サンプルが破断した時点での強度と伸度とした。
JISZ1712に準拠して以下の方法で測定した。フィルムを20mm巾で200mmの長さでフィルムの長手方向、幅方向にそれぞれカットし、150℃の熱風オーブン中に吊るして5分間加熱した。加熱後の長さを測定し、元の長さに対する収縮した長さの割合で熱収縮率を求めた。
フィルムの表面層B側からアタゴ社製アッベ屈折計を用いて波長589.3nm、温度23℃で測定した。長手方向、幅方向に沿った屈折率をそれぞれNx、Nyとし、厚み方向の屈折率をNzとした。面配向係数は、(式)[(Nx+Ny)/2]-Nzを用いて計算した。
表面層Bが両側にある場合は、それぞれの面配向係数の平均値を計算し、面配向係数とした。
JIS K6768-1999に順じて、フィルムを23℃、相対湿度50%で24時間エージング後、下記手順でフィルムのコロナ処理面を測定した。
1)測定は、温度23℃,相対湿度50%の標準試験室雰囲気(JIS K7100参照)で行う。
2)試験片をハンドコータの基板の上に置き、試験片の上に試験用混合液を数滴滴下して直ちにワイヤバーを引いて試験用混合液を均一に広げる。綿棒又はブラシを使用して試験用混合液を広げる場合は、液体は少なくとも6cm2以上の面積に速やかに広げる。液体の量は、たまりを作らないで、薄層を形成する程度にする。濡れ張力の判定は、試験用混合液の液膜を明るいところで観察し、3秒後の液膜の状態で行う。液膜破れを生じないで、3秒以上塗布されたときの状態を保っているのは、濡れていると判定する。濡れが3秒以上保たれる場合は、さらに、次に表面張力の高い混合液に進み、また逆に、3秒以下で液膜が破れる場合は、次に表面張力の低い混合液に進む。この操作を繰り返し、試験片の表面を正確に、3秒間濡らすことができる混合液を選ぶ。
3)ワイヤバーは、使用ごとにメタノールで洗浄し乾燥させる。
4)試験片の表面を3秒間濡らすことができる混合液を選ぶ操作を少なくとも3回行う。このようにして選ばれた混合液の表面張力をフィルムの濡れ張力とする。
ラミネート強度は以下のような手順により測定した。
1)二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムとシーラントフィルムとの積層体(ラミネートフィルム)の作製
連続式のドライラミネート機を用いて以下のように行った。まず、得られた二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層Bのコロナ処理面に接着剤を乾燥時塗布量が3.0g/m2となるようにグラビアコートした後、乾燥ゾーンに導き80℃、5秒で乾燥した。引き続き下流側に設けられたロール間でシーラントフィルムと貼り合わせた(ロール圧力0.2MPa、ロール温度:60℃)。得られたラミネートフィルムは巻き取った状態で40℃、3日間のエージング処理を行った。
なお、接着剤は主剤(東洋モートン社製、TM569)28.9質量%、硬化剤(東洋モートン社製、CAT10L)4.00質量%および酢酸エチル67.1質量%を混合して得られたドライラミネート用系接着剤を使用し、シーラントフィルムは東洋紡社製無延伸ポリプロピレンフィルム(パイレン(登録商標)CT P1128、厚み30μm)を使用した。
2)ラミネートフィルム(積層体)のラミネート強度の測定
上記で得られたラミネートフィルム(積層体)を二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムの長手方向、幅方向それぞれに長辺を持つ短冊状(長さ200mm、幅15mm)に切り出し、引張試験機(インストロンジャパンカンパニイリミテッド社製デュアルコラム卓上型試験機インストロン5965)を用いて、23℃の環境下200mm/分の引張速度で90°(T字)剥離した際の剥離強度(N/15mm)を測定した。測定は長手方向、幅方向それぞれ3回行い、その平均値を長手方向及び幅方向のラミネート強度とした。
JIS Z1707に準拠してラミネートフィルム(積層体)のシール強度を下記の方法で測定し、到達ヒートシール温度でヒートシールした際のシール部分の外観を評価した。
ヒートシーラーにてラミネートフィルム(積層体)のシーラントフィルム同士をヒートシールする。この時のシール圧力は10N/cm2、シール時間は1秒、温度は100℃から250℃で実施した。
ヒートシールしたラミネートフィルム(積層体)を幅15mm×長さ200mmのサイズに切り出し、初期チャック間距離は100mmで、引張試験機(インストロンジャパンカンパニイリミテッド社製デュアルコラム卓上型試験機インストロン5965)にセットし、引張速度200mm/分にてT字剥離強度の測定を行った。横軸に温度、縦軸にヒートシール強度をとったグラフを描き、ヒートシール強度の最大値を到達シール強度、その時の温度を到達ヒートシール温度とした。到達ヒートシール温度でヒートシールした際のシール部分の外観を、基材層の剥がれ、シワの程度から以下の2段階で評価した。
○:フィルムの剥がれ及びシワの発生なし。
×:フィルムの剥がれ又は/及びシワが発生。
[基材層A]
ポリプロピレン樹脂として、MFR=7.5g/10分、[mmmm]=98.9%、Tc=116℃、Tm=163℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-1(住友化学(株)製、FLX80E4)を80質量部と、MFR=3.0g/10分、[mmmm]=98.4%、Tc=116℃、Tm=163℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-2(住友化学(株)製、FS2012)を20質量部とをブレンドした。
これらのプロピレン単独重合体の混合物100質量部に、ステアリルジエタノールアミンモノステアレート、ステアリルジエタノールアミンジステアレート、ステアリルジエタノールアミン混合物(松本油脂(株)製、KYM-4K)を1.4質量部配合し混合後、ペレタイザー付き押出し機を用いて溶融混練、造粒してポリプロピレン組成物のペレットを得て、基材層A用のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物とした。このポリプロピレン樹脂組成物のメソペンタッド分率は98.8%であり、TmAは163℃であり、MFRは6.5g/10分であった。
[表面層B]
ポリプロピレン樹脂として、MFR=2.5g/10分、[mmmm]=93.8%、Tc=112℃、Tm=159℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-3((株)プライムポリマー製、F-300SP)を58質量部と、MFR=4.2g/10分、[mmmm]=97.3%、Tc=112℃、Tm=165℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-4(日本ポリプロ(株)製FL4)を42質量部とをブレンドしたものをペレタイザー付き押出し機を用いて溶融混練、造粒してポリプロピレン組成物のペレットを得て、表面層B用のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物とした。このポリプロピレン樹脂組成物のメソペンタッド分率は95.3%であり、TmBは161℃であり、MFRは3.5g/10分であった。
まず、基材層A、表面層Bのそれぞれを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を多層フィードブロックを用い、押出機で250℃で加熱溶融させ、250℃でTダイから溶融ポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を表面層B/基材層A/表面層Bの構成で積層しながらシート状に共押出した。
溶融シートを37℃の冷却ロールに接触させ、そのまま29℃の水槽に投入して未延伸のシートを得た。その後、未延伸のシートを140℃で二対のロールで長手方向に4.0倍延伸し、ついで両端をクリップで挟み、熱風オーブン中に導いて、174℃で予熱後、幅方向に160℃で10倍延伸し、次いで、幅方向に175℃で7%緩和させながら熱処理を行った。
得られた二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムの巻内側の表面層Bの表面に春日電機社製のコロナ処理機を用いて、13W/m2・minの条件で、コロナ処理を施した後、ワインダーで巻き取って厚み17μmの二軸配向ポリプロピレンフィルムを得た。フィルムの厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/15/1μmであった。
表1に用いたポリプロピレン樹脂原料の特性、表2に各層の原料組成と製膜条件、表3にフィルム特性を示した。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時に未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとのラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、厚み構成、熱処理時弛緩率を変更した以外は実施例1と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/17/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時に未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとのラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、予熱温度、幅方向延伸温度、熱処理温度を変更した以外は実施例2と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/17/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時に未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとのラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、厚み構成、予熱温度を変更した以外は実施例3と同様に行いフィルム厚み16μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/14/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時に未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとのラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、厚み構成、熱処理温度を変更した以外は実施例4と同様に行いフィルム厚み17μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/15/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時に未延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとのラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、フィルムの厚みを19μm、厚み構成を表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=2/15/2μmに変更した以外は実施例2と同様に行った。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるものであった。
表2の通り、表面層Bの原料として基材層Aと同じメソペンタッド分率の高い原料を用いた以外は実施例2と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/17/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムの剥がれや皺が発生せず、剛性は高いものの、ラミネート強度が劣っていた。
表2の通り、長手方向の延伸倍率を変更した以外は実施例2と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/17/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、剛性が高く、ラミネート強度に優れるが、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムのシール部に剥がれや皺が発生した。

ポリプロピレン樹脂として、MFR=7.5g/10分、[mmmm]=98.9%、Tc=116℃、Tm=163℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-1(住友化学(株)製、FLX80E4)を50質量部と、MFR=3.0g/10分、[mmmm]=93.8%、Tc=112℃、Tm=159℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-3((株)プライムポリマー製、F-300SP)を50質量部とをブレンドした。
これらのプロピレン単独重合体の混合物100質量部に、ステアリルジエタノールアミンモノステアレート、ステアリルジエタノールアミンジステアレート、ステアリルジエタノールアミン混合物(松本油脂(株)製、KYM-4K)を1.4質量部配合し混合後、ペレタイザー付き押出し機を用いて溶融混練、造粒してポリプロピレン組成物のペレットを得て、基材層A用のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物とした。このポリプロピレン樹脂組成物のメソペンタッド分率は96.4%であり、TmAは161℃であり、MFRは5.3g/10分であった。
表2の通り、基材層Aに上記のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を使用した以外は実施例2と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。厚み構成は表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=1/17/1μmであった。表3に示したとおり、ラミネート強度に優れるが、剛性が低く、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムのシール部に剥がれや皺が発生した。
表2の通り、フィルムの厚みを19μm、厚み構成を表面層B/基材層A/表面層B=3/13/3μmに変更した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。表3に示したとおり、ラミネート強度に優れるが、剛性が低く、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムのシール部に剥がれや皺が発生した。
ポリプロピレン樹脂として、MFR=7.5g/10分、[mmmm]=98.9%、Tc=116℃、Tm=163℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-1(住友化学(株)製、FLX80E4)を58質量部と、MFR=4.2g/10分、[mmmm]=97.3%、Tc=112℃、Tm=165℃であるプロピレン単独重合体PP-4(日本ポリプロ(株)製FL4)を42質量部とをブレンドしたものをペレタイザー付き押出し機を用いて溶融混練、造粒してポリプロピレン組成物のペレットを得て、表面層B用のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物とした。このポリプロピレン樹脂組成物のメソペンタッド分率は98.2%であり、TmBは164℃であり、MFRは6.1g/10分であった。
表2の通り、表面層Bの原料として上記のポリプロピレン樹脂組成物を使用した以外は比較例1と同様に行いフィルム厚み19μmのフィルムを得た。表3に示したとおり、ヒートシール時にラミネートフィルムのシール部に皺が発生せず、剛性は高いものの、ラミネート強度が劣っていた。
また、包装材料に限らず、コンデンサーやモーターなどの絶縁フィルム、太陽電池のバックシート、無機酸化物層を設けたハイバリア性フィルムやITOなどの透明導電フィルムのベースフィルムなどのより高温で使用される用途や、セパレートフィルムなどのより剛性が必要とされる用途にも好適である。
さらに、従来用いられにくかったコート剤やインキ、ラミネート接着剤などを用い、高温でのコートや印刷加工が可能となり、生産の効率化が期待できる。
Claims (7)
- 少なくとも基材層A及び表面層Bを含む、二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムであって、下記1)~7)の要件を満たす二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
1)フィルム全体の厚みに対する基材層Aの厚みの割合が70%以上、98%以下である。
2)基材層Aを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が97.0%以上、99.9%以下である。
3)表面層Bを構成するポリプロピレン樹脂のメソペンタッド分率が80.0%以上、96.5%以下である。
4)フィルムの長手方向のF5が35MPa以上である。
5)フィルムの幅方向のF5が95MPa以上である。
6)フィルムの長手方向の150℃熱収縮率が6.0%以下である。
7)フィルムの幅方向の150℃熱収縮率が5.0%以下である。 - 前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層B側から測定した面配向係数が0.0134以下である請求項1に記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
- 前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムの表面層Bのフィルム表面の濡れ張力が38mN/m以上である請求項1又は2に記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
- 前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムのヘイズが5.0%以下である請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
- 前記二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム全体の厚みが5.3μm以上、202μm以下である請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルム。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の二軸配向積層ポリプロピレンフィルムと無延伸ポリプロピレンフィルムとを含む積層体。
- 前記積層体の90°(T字)剥離した際の剥離強度で表されるラミネート強度が、前記積層体の長手方向及び幅方向ともに1.9N/15mm以上、10N/15mm以下である請求項6に記載の積層体。
