Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to plant disease control compositions, formulations, and methods for controlling plant diseases.
- Rice blast is the most damaging disease in rice cultivation caused by the rice blast fungus (Pyricularia oryzae), and many control agents using fungicidal compounds have been reported so far. Most of them are intended for preventive use to treat rice blast before the onset of the disease. In rice blast, many bacteria that are resistant to existing fungicidal compounds have appeared, and the number of fields where a single fungicidal component cannot provide sufficient control effects is increasing (Non-Patent Document 1).
- Patent Documents 1 and 2 there are techniques that have been proposed so far (for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2). Furthermore, it has been shown that a mixture of a diamine derivative having an oxycarbonyl group with a halogen-substituted hydrocarbon and other fungicidal compounds including tebufloquine exhibits activity against plant diseases including rice blast (Patent Document 3). . Mixtures of amide compounds and other fungicidal compounds, including tebufloquine, have been shown to be active against Botrytis fungi (US Pat. No. 5,001,302). Furthermore, it has been shown that a mixed composition of tebufloquine and a fungicidal compound exhibits activity against cucumber powdery mildew (Patent Document 5).
